Hi everyone,

I have 3k to invest and need advice on which coins to invest in and a breakdown of how much of each should I roughly have. I plan to hold for at least a year or more and not sure which coins could give me 3x+ in return..

I've been doing a ton of research for the past few weeks and have come up with these so far:

XRP, XLM, ADA, REQ, IOTA, Oyster PRL, XSPEC, SONM, ELIX, XRB

I was thinking maybe load up on the coins in my list that are $4 and less and get a small amount of the ones that are a bit more expensive. Throughout my research I've been doubting which has caused me to keep adding/dropping coins to my list and has caused a lot of doubt on which to invest in initially because there are a lot of things about each one that I really like and make me excited about, but then I see other coins that look promising. I really need some advice on how to proceed.

Great team great tech and it's ahead of its white paper! Not to mention they give you 10% for taking per year. I see this coin safely hitting $100 next year. 13 million market supply too! I loaded 60% of my portfolio on this and currently generating new coins every day with staking.

Check out WAVES!!  Lots of good developments for this coin coming out in 2018!!  Do your own research and make up your own conclusions.  I'm balls deep into the WAVES and it feels great!!  ;D

It seems that you need to start slow because if you dont have extensive knowledge you can go terribly wrong with diverse and big investment.

For example I thin Ripple is good till 5$ and than one should SELL.

Also most of big coins will not give you a big return. The biggest returns are in new ICOs but in the same time the most risk is there also.
I am considering BitClave tokens they just went in exchange
and Pundi X ICO sale, they will have a very small portion for grabs and a lot of potential buyers.

I would keep about 75% in bitcoin,  eth and litecoin.  After that invest about 20% in privacy coins,  they are going to give nice return this year,  2 of my favorites are deeponion ($Onion) and neblio.  Neo is very good as well.  Good Luck

Invest now in ethereum.ethereum is very stable alt coin.and i know ethereum is the best coin in 2017.ethereum is big coin.what a great ICO

XLM and REQ seem pretty good. Would recommend XEM. They're going all out this year and their community is great. ICX and DRGN are also great options. Take a look at them.

At this point I bet you could throw a dart on a list of coins and buy the one you hit. In the past month every coin has gone to the moon, no matter how obscure. Success seems more a matter of timing than due diligence.

Go for the one with the least amount of volatility and learn from those ones to get a feel of what you can and can't lose then start with the smaller cap coins.

My best coin to invest would always be bitcoin then you could add alts such as ethereum and ripple atleast 50% should go to bitcoin because I think bitcoin will continue to remain on the top of all other cryptos while ethereum and ripple will be next. With that you can earn from both investment and can maxaimize your earnings

initial price of your investment is $3000, i think etheruem is the best time to invest while the prices totally increasing. even the bitcoin still recovering etheruem has make his own way to get and reach the highest amount that they did.

You have a good capital start up investment. I advise you to start running invest in coins such as Ethereum, Strat, Ada and others. Look at the forum, which coins are in high demand and invest in them, as long as you can not choose their own good. Distribute your capital for 5-10 coins. So it is faster profit, than to invest in 1-2 coins and wait for their growth

Kindly look at RDD, ADA, CTR,ETH these coins are gonna do well. though it is not a financial advice, do your research and and make up your mind on what you want to invest. you can as well reserve some little portion and try nice ICO's.

Any opinion on Oyster PRL, SONM, ELIX, ICX, VeChain? Thinking about choosing 1-2 more from this list.

I'm also super interested in Universa Blockchain. I missed the pre-sale and currently am waiting to see if it will hit any exchanges in the near future. Any opinion in Universa?

I would advise invest in Raiden or ICON. Maybe 50/50. For me it's a most promising tokens in 2018.

And how about BTC? it must be in every portfolio. invest 1500$ to it and forget) as for other coins, divide into equal parts and invest in first top 10. it won't be a mistake if you put them in more than a year and don't want to make research about every coin. if I were you, I would have earned another $ 300 to invest in different ICO campaigns

BitShares and EOS.....2018 will be the year of Larimer (IMHO)

To be honest all coins which are on their way up have big potential. the cheaper they are the bigger the gain and possible losses.......the biggest and most succesfull coins have less risk. But really, nobody knows for sure. Most if not all coins mentioned here have potential.
You need to follow your gut+ indeed a project you feel for.
Some people have made huge profits with shitcoins without any future, while some of the best projects do poorly for a long time untill maybe they can unleash their power.

most people said ripple could never reach $1  lol now it is $2. If any investment brings 100.000% in a year or less that is called gambling.

u should have follow ur own research rather than asking here. some people will just manipulate you.not al in to the cheap coin but some big coin like bitcoin, eth, ltc or bcc. cheap coin can surprise u anytime unless you are very sure they have a good team and good tech. some are hidden gems and there are thousand of coins which u need more time to study it. and there are a lot of scam too.
