Title: Bitrefill and LN
Post by: OmegaStarScream on January 01, 2018, 12:37:28 PM
I have seen a picture on Reddit where someone used Bitrefill with Lightning network but when I visit the site I find no information's about that. Who have an idea? I know It's probably not stable but I'd like to test.

Here you can test the lightning payments with Bitrefill (it's on their blog): https://blog.bitrefill.com/test-instructions-lightning-on-bitrefill-ef6db8714b00

An article regarding the event: https://www.coindesk.com/payment-provider-bitrefill-runs-successful-lightning-transaction-test/

Are you talking about this guy? https://twitter.com/alexbosworth/status/946175898029395968

This is in the mainnet BTW. But it's currently only available for a few individuals for limited testing. The "testnet" version, which won't really pay your phone bills (and which can be seen in SFR10's link) has been available for some time. I myself already played a little bit with it.

Limited by who @juscamarena invited to try it 😀 You would need a mainnet wallet and the current wallets have no stable release for mainnet..

Bitrefill now fully supports Lightning for payments. Try us out again when you have the chance!
