Do you think, are we really benefited from the taxes we pay? or just politicians are benefited?

Well let's think about it.... At least here in the UK the tax pays for;

1. Universal healthcare
2. Unemployment benefits
3. Maintenance of the roads and streets
4. Water sanitation systems
5. Defense
6. Police, ambulance and fire services

Do you think that you would have any of those without paying taxes?

Again with the taxes? What can you do? Big Brother will continue to milk us without mercy.

My opinion is the politicians who are most fed or benifited , and the taxes that they got . They just use it for fun , for them selves , and why we are asking ourselves why were poor , the main cause of poverty is corruption.

   Depends from place you live. Authorities benefit us in way they want, they benefit someone who are usefull for them, army servants, police servants, politicians. Insignificant people also get some leftovers, but not according to money they pay as taxes

Yes, we still benefit from taxes.. a normal society would be impossible without them, think about the police force, sanitation & public health works, health care, education &c. without tax.

Our taxes are what the government uses for projects, programs and any development of the town or country. So if you have corrupt officials the taxes will be possibly used in other agenda.

Taxes is the price of government and country you buy.

To be honest again with tax , we need to pay our taxes equally , the taxes we pay will help to provide the daily needs of our fellow people such as different workers. And the taxes that we pay go through different places for example the fire station , police and many more , so we the one are really benefited.

The main point of taxation is that it provides funds for the public goods or services that people generally need. Without taxes, many public services, such as public safety, education and public health, will not be met by charitable donations from a small number of people. Of course, paying taxes does not necessarily mean a satisfactory public service. As to why, this involves a lot of problems.

This is all dependent on your country's level of governance.

Alot of governments are rotten to the core, will we fund them with our taxes? Or do we contribute directly were it is needed, 10% of your crypto profits?

I believe we were given the opportunity to participate in the new digital revolution and the fruits of our labour, believes can contribute to the needy in our direct community, that is just my opinion.

Yes, in more developed parts of the world. Society benefits but more needs to be done to ensure that very wealthy/powerful interests are not able to escape contributing to the pot..

Taxes are needed to maintain the government as in the capitalist society. But it should not be the government's main income. More production in the country can reduce the taxes from people. So the government need to have a good economic policies to increase the gross production by using the tax income while giving the services to the people in health, education and defense areas.

Our duties and responsibility has citizen is to pay tax , there is when government get their revenue for propagation of huge project that we benefit the entire states.

as a citizen paying taxes is an obligation, although sometimes the benefits can not be felt directly by us as a society. because many countries pay debt overseas or even in corruption by officials and politicians.

We really benefit from our taxes because security services, social welfare, infrastructure and proper health care facilities are all provided by our taxes.

The state ensures the safety of public life through taxation. Taxes are very important in any country!

It depends where you live. Where I live, personally, there isn't any real advantage by paying taxes. The services don't have quality, the public workers are rude and stupid, the corruption levels are high and only a political elite have benefits from it as they use their influence and power to put who they want to work on important sectors and companies of the country, as most of them belong to the state.

Even the oil is expensive here, what doesn't make sense, as the oil is explored here in big quantities by statal company, so it should be cheap at least...

Not only are your everyday services you take for granted included in tax payments, but the taxes you pay that you may not benefit from does effect you as well.  Ill gladly pay my school tax even though I dont have kids to better society and to keep those same kid from robbing me =P

I believe we need low taxes, low taxes encourage people to pay them and to also work hard. Governments have a duty to provide certain merit goods for it's citizens. However, as a middle income earner - I pay too many taxes and receive nothing form the government.

Yes we all benefit from taxes that we pay. Infrastructures are funded by taxes government collects from its people. Same goes with the salary of government employees and police force and so with the funding of free education for the youth.

Tax is an amount of money that you have to pay to the government so that it can pay for public services.

Some of the taxes are really gone straight to politicians wallet! some were to government workers!
but tax is really important not just for the government but for the people of their nation!
TAX cover the expenses of the country, their infrastructures development, and project for the poor and the society.

Although we do not realize, tax has made us more comfortable. each country will certainly oblige their citizens to pay taxes. by paying taxes, we have contributed to the development of the country we live in.

Of course we have to pay taxes, without taxes the government can not run the country. Because tax is the main income of the country which is then managed for the financing and routine expenditure of the country. The government also uses taxes for the financing of services to the public such as public facilities

I agree with your opinion. Let us not be too demanding rights, regardless of our obligations as citizens. Good roads, good school facilities that is one proof of government services to us as citizens.
Because the government needs a fee to make good public facilities.

Yes we are the collected taxes were used for funding government infrastructure like school, bridges, skyway, hospitals and government offices. Even the payroll of our military, policemen and any government employees not only public officials. Government services like scholarships, health and community services were all funded by our taxes.

It depends in the country you live in and depends in the kind of government you have. Tax money must definitely goes to people. As I can see, there is a lot of improvements here in our country in terms of infrastructure, livelihood program for the poor, public schools, public health centers and even the 4Ps program for the poor. The key is to be vigilant and try to observe around you if your government really doing any projects and programs for the benefits of the voting public. If not, then your government is a corrupt kind of government.

in a country like mine where you just pay tax and you wont see the essence . its always the profit of the politicians

For me tax is pay by people in the country owned by the government but id dont know where the tax go for me i think the tax benefits only in the government and people suffer that because we pay by the tax everything you buy.

It really depends on the country and the politicians who actually lead it. I know of countries who tax their workforce about 50 percent of their salary but they don't have to pay for their hospitalization, medical bills, tuition fee up to college and the government would even provide you with money if you're in between jobs. I mean if i plainly see that my taxes go somewhere then i will gladly pay them and even give some extra. But when you see politicians whose riding on these flashy cars and living in mansions, then heck no

No we are also benefitted a plenty because with the tax funds many welfare works are undertaken

No they are nowadays just benefitted to politicians only, they buy rich, live rich with our money only

The tax must be paid by each company.This tax is paid to the state.Every company is obliged to pay, if the tax isn't paid, the higher fines are followed.Every man who opens his own business must pay the state tax.For different job, a different price is the tax.There are some smaller companies that are hiding, they don't pay taxes, and for what they do are followed by huge penalties.

Maybe yes, if there is no corrupt officials. All people in a nation will benefit. Road and high ways will improve, school and other helpful building will be build. Everyone of us should pay taxes to improve our country.

Here in our country mostly the people are paying taxes but they cannot benefit from the taxes that they are paying , the politicians here benefits most of the peoples taxes. They have been corrupting the taxes and goes to their own pockets. People here in our country that pays taxes are complaining but the politicians are the ones who are in lead. Thus they don't have the right to complain. Politicians here are just like banks , they steal all the taxes that our people have been paying.

Yes we need to taxes to pay off the national debt accrued by the politicians so they can keep borrowing fiat and make it appear that the economy is working.

& If we didn't have taxes our politicians would never be able to retire as multi millionaires.

Well i thinl both, its still depend on the government but tax use to be a salary though from the word tax itself a must pay. This would help our community and it can help too such as it can help the workers on our government , the building like the hospital , police and different station.

if I think only positive, because I believe with the taxes set by the government then I obey it and I am sure that this tax that I pay is beneficial to me, and in my life, then if there is a tax leverage for things that are not good or in corruption then it is an irresponsible person, and I think not all that

As you belong from civilized society you must obligate from paying your tax because its fundamental source of governments to sustainable funding for social programs and public investments to promote economic growth and development despite you'll negative thoughts about them,,but if your  not paying tax,,,do you think you must help in the government? definitely not!,, but if you'll response the obligation you must build also the programs of your government  providing of health, education, infrastructure and other amenities to important and achieving the common  goal

paying tax has seriously issue among of the government because some people they are not comply of their obligation by paying the tax that's why our nation will not generate the higher profit to build the other establishment that can really help the decent life for each person in nation,aside from that paying  taxes was also able to help of the government to generate from many resources fund to establish from abundant living in one nation.,   
       

yes of course we get the benefits. Taxes, as one of the largest sources of state revenues, has been beneficial. Some government spending uses tax funds such as personnel expenditure and financing the construction of public facilities such as roads, bridges, hospitals, and police stations.

As a citizen of our country, taxation or paying taxes is our contribution for the development and improvement of our country.  And Yes! We all benefit from the taxes that we are paying.  Because the taxes that we pay carries out many functions.  From pavement of roads, building bridges, public transportation, building hospitals, building of public schools and improvement of educational system,  electricity, water, waste management system, public utilities, infrastructures, jobs, improving of financial and economic status, and etc.  

The disappointing part is when corrupt government officials pockets or steals money that is supposed to be for its citizens.

The money that we pay in taxes goes to many places.In addition to paying the salaries of government workers,our tax also help to support common resources,such a police and firefighters.
Tax are also used to fund many types of government programs that help the poor and less fortunate,as well many schools.

Most of the time we don't even know what the taxes being collected by the government is really being used for since they don't provide any account of it to the taxpayers but i believe we deserve to know what it's being used, most of the time, they just squander the tax money for their own purposes.

I think it depends from place you live. As I can see in my country people can gain so many benefits from taxes such as:
- Universal healthcare
- Unemployment benefits
- Infrastructure maintenance
- Defense
- Healthcare

Graft and corruption are evidently happening in every countries in the world. The government are accused to use the money of the people for their own personal benefits. However, we cannot end taxation for them not to commit those. I believe that if we stop taxatiin or paying taxes, our own countries won't achieve its growth as it improves today. National projects will not be accomplished if we do not have laws about taxation. If that's so, then we still do benefit from the taxes we are paying.

I don't care about the taxes I paid until I have learned the harsh truth that the politicians are just benefiting from everyone's money. I know a lot of people are thinks the same thing. Only a portion of our money are going to government project the others just goes to the politicians pockets (3 years ago) . Good thing thing we have President who's anti corrupt and doesn't care about the money. Hopefully he will be able to fix things before his term ends.

Tax is the Money paid to the government other than for transaction-specific goods and services.
Tax is  burdensome demand.
Tax can also be a task exacted from one who is under control; a contribution or service, the rendering of which is imposed upon a subject.
Task is also regarded as  A lesson to be learned

The problem is where are we without tax. The whole system needs to be maintained with something. Whether or not certain people are corrupt and abuse their position to use tax for the wrong reasons this doesnt change that fact that tax would still be needed to keep the overall system and infrastructure running. Without this global system that has been build through decades of taxation we wouldnt even be here talking about blockchain. This doesnt mean that tax is good or bad, it seems neccesairy and the problem is that there are people that either use it in a good or bad way.

Having said that it seems that blockchain could be very usefull in this system it can add transparancy and more accountability to those that actually deal with the tax money and also give people a better understanding where their money is actually used for.
