Although I have an interest in quite a number of Alt coins I will always remained involved and interested in BTC.

For this reason this seems like the best forum to stay in touch with the latest developments in ALL the world of cryptocurrency.

Despite this sometimes I find it hard to comprehend the amazing amount of posts in this Alt coin forum everyday

For this reason I'd like to request that we get some child boards for the most popular coins

Please vote in the poll or if your coin of choice is not included then reply in the thread.

Coins have been chosen based on market cap (coinmarketcap.com)

absolutely not, it's fine the way it is. Coins which are dead/useless will see their threads moving past the first few pages pretty fast :)

They've already stated it wouldn't happen because it's "bitcoin talk" not "altcoin talk". There are other boards that have separate subforums, though. https://cryptocointalk.com/ for example (though it's not nearly as active)
