Title: Trying out a new Silicon Labs ASIC USB Post by: spaced on August 03, 2013, 02:59:42 PM So far I haven't got it working on W7, I followed the tutorial to the letter:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=220450.msg2321308#msg2321308 but while the device shows up in Device Manager, it doesn't show up under COM ports like they say it should. Not sure what the issue might be, I tried to post a reply in that forum with the output from cgminer but I'm not allowed to do that yet so I guess I'll kick around here for a few hours ;) Anyone had similar issues?
