Hi, I want to sponsor someone who would get a large BITCOIN logo on the hood of their car

also on the sides a good URL for them to learn about bitcoin or something

May I suggest a small car like a fiat / smart car? I know Car Wrapping has come into play recently and could probably easily advertise with that method.

What I meant, depending on how much money you want to spend, find a bitcoin enthusiast and get them a Fiat / Smart car. There fairly cheap to lease and can easily get it wrapped!

Again all depends on your budget.

I'm not one for putting stuff on my personal car, but If you find a way to make a BTC logo that fits the rear logo for a BMW (the round one on the trunk) I may consider it!

I make semi-regular (bi-monthly) trips to LA/SD/SF areas, so get plenty of exposure. Am about to start investing/trading in BTC locally for people who have a harder time than I sourcing coin, so it would be pretty cool to roll up to trades in the blinged out BTC ride.. Watch what you put on there, you may need to have your hood repainted if/when the thing on it gets removed (heat, UV exposure/fading differential).

Unless your redoing my entire car, the only ad space im selling is the back side windows, and entire back window.

I know this may seem off-topic but I was hoping to attach a sponsored logo onto my MacBook Pro to try this out for BTC.Can this be possible or does it absolutely need to be on a car?

I'm interested in knowing what the price was/ends up being simply to give an idea of the market value for something like this. Post details in this thread if they exist and aren't confidential.

Most car wrap sponsors pay between $200-400 a month to have their advertisement wrapped on a vehicle.

Generally, they require the car be new, at most 3-5 years old.

There are many companies online that match up car owners based on their location, and vehicle, with advertisers who are looking to place their advertising in wrap form on vehicles.

Some companies charge a sign-up fee for this, and predictably, many just take your sign up fee and don't have any advertisers ready to go.


In my experience, it's very hard to find advertisers who are looking for vehicles to wrap.

My info is based on people who have successfully gotten paid for wrapping their cars, and the promotional literature on the broker websites.

It don't really depend on how new your car is, its about the ad space on your car. Generally, its where you drive, and how much you drive. If you live out in the boonies, and drive 5 miles a week, then you won't get a shot. If you live downtown or in a major city, and drive around and park in populated areas that's what pays... Most places require you to check-in via gps/sms/phone/mms to prove you actually drove around. So really deepening on the contract, it could be a paid daily per x amount of miles or stops you make at places.

True, I forgot to mention they only want people in select metros. I haven't seen size really be an issue; they choose smaller cars including smart cars alot, and it seems to be more important to have a new car than a big car.

But they do care about the "image" of your car, and generally do not want older cars as it affects their public image.

You can add the option of putting a hard wired GPS in your vehicle that they can track.

I'd still have to argue the 'new car' thing. The more unique your car is, the better. Loud eye candy is what people want. I have seen everything from old herses, old school busses, old hippy vans, bulky vans and suvs... Advertizing everything from a new cd to plumbing... The car has to be in decent to new enough shape for them to slap their ad on and stick properly, you don't want to be driving down the highway and the thing flys off and cause crash. lol

Yes, your right, some of the advertisers like unique cars.
