Yes Bittrex is slightly better than Poloniex and seems to have a better following.
I have heard some negative vibes relating to Poloniex in the past.
Be aware that some wallets on all exchanges from time to time will be in "Maintenance" mode temporarily so you wont be able to withdraw from that particular wallet.
just giving you warning for when it happens and you are wondering what the F is going on.

Bittrex is most probably better than those exchanges although I like cryptopia. Binance also is a quality top notch exchange and best part about that one is you can save 50% on your fees by using their coin.

Yes polenix trading platform is good but you can try Bittrex for a change and feel the difference then you can decide where to go. good luck.

Just my opinion, but cryptopia is the best exchange that i have ever used only because they are 100% descentralized and they will never ask you for ID's.

I just started trading and the very first problem i encountered is what trading site shall i use?
my friends from gambling site suggested some and i decided to pick cryptopia

Poloniex is good too (just like you said) but it is going to ask for ID's soon and that is something that you should be afraid of if you have funds in there.

And whatever you do, do not use bittrex.

Cryptopia is way too laggy in my opinion, i missed alot of good deals because i was too late. Using Binance mostly, its faster and got a better overview in my opinion.

I’ve used Poloniex quite a bit and even though I have always liked their exchange, the customer support seems to be having problems. They don’t seem to respond to support tickets. It scares me that if I ever have a significant problem, I won’t be able to get it resolved. Therefore, I have stopped using that exchange. Binance is the best one right now. I've never used cryptopia, so i have no idea if they're reliable or not.

Bittrex would be the best option but the problem i think you can't make account there due to large trader out there. So if you wanted to start cryptopia and poloniex would be enough to learn trading from the start..
Also you can also try gdax from coinbase which is also recommended there are also lots of traders out there..
Beware of fake trading site if you received some pm right now please ignore and start in small amount just to learn how trading works..

Bittrex is already better than poliniex. I think bittrex will be the best options that will go to trading because many trader uses it and in my experience it was more convinient that the other.

You may try all trading sites that they mentions but except for etherdelta and hitbtc trading because they booth have technical issues like for etherdelta was just hacked by December in which lot og holders coins are lost and then for hitbtc their transactions are facing abnormalities in which if you deposit and withdraw you might lost your coins in the process. Better to stay away for now until their reputations will be better again.

In my opinion use minimum 2 of mayor exchange because keep money in exchange there are still any risk like hacking, and in my opinion good exchange is Bittrex, Binance, Poloniex, Kucoin and decentralized exchange Etherdelta. All these exchange also i used it and so far not any issue with withdrawal. For Binance and Bittrex they has bigger volume than others but this verification procces should be done before make deposit or doing trading there. But for etherdelta and kucoin no need for verification.

for that you just try the bittrex trading sites or poloniex because they are popular and legit so 100% risk free to trade bitcoins and you will surely earn when you are in trading but you will still be in another trading sites they may be more expensive than these, because of bittrex 0.001 btc fee and with poloniex 0.0002 btc fee just so you can afford it more.

As long as you are good, you can make use of any good exchange and bittrex is not the only one. In fact, if you really want to go into proper trading and be able to have good number of coins to trade, then you can make use of at least 2 to 3 trading platforms for good number of reasons and then use their APIs on sites like coinigy so you can have the whole platforms in one single place and then trade on the go. For starters though, you can try bittrex or binance.

Go to HitBTC or BitFinex - These two trading platforms are the best in terms of trading bitcoin and altcoin.

If you found their interface is easy to understand then you can used one of them. Being tagged as user friendly site will depend on how new users will familiarize themselves with trading platforms features.

In terms of volumes, Poloniex is better than Crytopia but some of your preferred coins to trade might not be present on Poloniex, same with Crytopia on the other hand. So in here, sometimes you will used multiple trading platforms at the same time to do trades.

Take note also of "Verification" thing on a trading platform to understand your limits. Sometimes it's necessary to undergo verification so that you won't face any problems especially at big withdrawals in the future.

I don't trade much, but I would say bittrex is better that those two (although poloniex seems fine to). It has more altcoins available, and normally more liquidity. Just go to coinmarketcap and see it for yourself. If you want to trade crypto vs fiat, then I would go for coinbase/gdax, since you can trade there with no fees, or to bitsamp that also looks good to me.

I would suggest you use Binance. They've a good User-interface and its user-friendly. You can access your portfolio and lay trades with ease. More so, to cut transaction fees, you can trade with their coin 'Binance Coin'(BNB)  you get discounted when you use it. They also have an app, where you can trade at your own convenience

Cryptopia has a user-friendly interface, but as of now, there are many accusations telling that cryptopia is starting to be a scam trading site. Although there are more secured exchanges outside fot you. You can try poloniex, hitbtc and bittrex.

Yes, I feel what you feel bro. The truth is that these web exchanges cannot really satisfy you which were even the reason I had to just make use of coinigy for most of them. Until we start having some good interface, one may not be able to get the best experience from these trading platforms.

Some are still better than the other, but for now, it seems we just have to stick with the ones we feel can do it ok. Bittrex is not bad as well as binance, but you will have to get use to the platform.

You should have done a thorough research on the best trading site to use online before even starting to trade. For beginners, you can start with a trading site with a high volume and possibly with some good reputation and so far, I feel binance is really the one giving that touch for traders. Bittrex used to do it until they closed some accounts without notification, but if you are able to get your account verified, then you should be good.

For beginners i think bittrex and poloniex did not accept new member registration as of now, we will just wait if when they open for a new members in their site. I'm now in hitBTC trading site as what i have searching and gathering information this site was no bad feedback about there's services, and they friendly and easy to use trading site. So far when i started trading in hitBTC i don't have any trouble.
If you choose now where you now a site for trading well, happy trading! goodluck ;D ;D

Bittrex is sure good but poloniex is good as well.
It just depends on how comfortable the trader gets with this site. I have never used Cryptopia that the OP decided to use first, but from most of the things I have seen, it may be a good one, but the volume cannot be compared to bittrex, poloniex or binance. However, the most important thing is to know you are trading right.

i dont think it is a matter of which is better than the other.
there are currencies which are only listed on some exchanges so if you want to get into that coin or currency
you have to use that exchange.
i think everyone is using at least 5 or 6 exchanges.

I think poloniex is a good exchange. But, in poloniex you must complete your indentify your self first to get unlock the withdraw limit. There so many good exchange to choose for starting trading. You can find it with coinmarketcap.com. in coinmarketcap.com, you can get more information about the exchange and you can decide what that suits your needs for trading.

I myself personally has worked with many exchanges starting from poloniex, it is the first trading exchange where I started my trading on bigger scale and here at starting everything was going right but after that there were issues regarding the Wallet and my withdrawal request was cleared lately and then i shifted towards Bittrex which gave me all my needs and from that time i using BITTREX and suppose if there are any issues in future there is a strong customer support team available which will take care of issues and solves them soon. Apart from bittrex, i have also traded in BINANCE, ETHERDELTA, UNOCOIN, KRAKEN and from all these option i will also recommend you to go with Binance and Unocoin as they are too good in their services.

For me, i would choose between cryptopia and binance, they are pretty good. And i do enjoy trading on the binance client. I used to be a supporter of hitbtc, but in last 2 months they are really terrible. Just look how they are treating XEM/NEM deposits and operations (blocked from a week). also I've recently found FreeWallet. It is very convenient to use, rather fast and nothing have ever been stuck there, the longest transaction I had was 3.5 hours, but normal for ICO crypto, which I put out into BTC, most likely. And in freewallet you can sent BTC without commissions, although usually it is around $15, so this is a very nice bonus.
