What do you think will happen in Bitcoin this 2018? Will it continue to go up or will it dive in price drastically?

I think it will go up at least 2-3 times and then at the end of the year it will fall back.

I have a feeling that Bitcoin is going to end up in a status quo kind of year, there is likely going to be very little happening that is going to be interesting within the tear since the normies made their entrance to the crypto market and have tried to make their money (and backed out after everything went pear-shaped with the market around a month ago). Hell, I think there was a mayor or someone from a city in the west that was talking about selling Bitcoin going into the new year, ironically the price pumped up around the same time he said it iirc.

We might have a repeat of the trends we saw in 2013, and that would indicate this year being status quo until 2019, where it would presumably take a hit again after the hype continues to wear off.

I do not know for sure. because every bitcoin and altcoin price is difficult to predict.
but I would rather rate the bitcoin price in 2018 will rise. may reach $ 25000 more.

I feel that in the first half of 2018, bitcoin will remain a strong upward trend, but in the second half of 2018, it could be a bear market.

For this year a 2x to 3x increase of bitcoin price is what we are all waiting. price increase of bitcoin now will become slow but surely. it is much better to look for good altcoin for decent profits. one of that is EOS and NEO.

I think your right, 2013 was a 2nd layer adoption year, and 2017 was third, early adoption (2010) was still rare,

The parabolic problem is the real danger point, nothing in human history goes parabolic, without coming back down, ( 2017 btc went parabolic )

There is a real problem with BTC, is that 300+ Billion is capitlized, with no hope of exit, for now its a real nice way to launder and hide wealth for the coming collapse of US-DOLLAR/EMPIRE/GOV, but say the collapse does come and all of a sudden all the HODLER's since 2009 come forward, where r the buyers?

The biggest wild-card in my humble opinion will be the inflection point where its common knowledge how to crack ECDSA, then CORE will have to either move fast, or a new-alt will be waiting to take up the flow, but for certain there will be a HUGE exit from BTC

The thing is despite lies and BULLSHIT which is 100% of what BTC is about, the thing is NOT long term secure, NSA doesn't issue public algos where they don't hold the key, they're not going to let this thing stay this way forever, as we go into 10 years, with the same ALGO, and CORE stays conservative, the thing is heading over a cliff

I'm assuming there will be a BTC 3.0, a third party not of core, or ethereum, not Monero, or the z-(coinzionist) family of coin, there must be some new real coin that is secure, and anonymous to become the BTC 3.0, and right now I don't see it out there.

Smartest thing to do is diversify into solid secure coin that have known good ppl running them, CORE simply can't keep patching the one-trick pony forever, I don't see a valid BTC 2.0, and 1.0 has run its life cycle, we need to jump to BTC 3.0, but it needs to have NO NSA algo's, it needs to be super-secure and unhackable for another 20+ years

The charts of bitcoin have shown that it has already stabilized and that the corrections was finished recently. According to the previous prediction that bitcoin will hit 27K$ by February this year is already on the move. The reason bitcoin reached 20k$ too early in the last week of November and First week of December is because of hype due to the 2 forks scheduled on the latter month. Hopefully after the correction was made we can expect a normal increase in bitcoins value and no longer a hype nor a bubble.

We know the game of price of bitcoin in previous buns. Most often but at the very top of the price he adds once again. If we look at the past over and over again can be done. It will be helpful it some percentage can be added to its price in 2018

No dought Bitcoin will raise 3x or more in 2018. But some of the competitors are not wait for the pumping continuously. So some fluctuation also happens in the Bitcoin value. I believe it will one of the most trusted cryptocurrency in the market. Every cryptocurrency have some certain limit but we don't know about that. Once it will reach the limit. It will not raise in market. This should be stable in the market.

I think it wouldn't go down back under $10,000 I think it would never be down there again in the future or I am just hoping about it,
I think maybe the price would be steady for a while and before the 2018 year ends I think that it would hit above $20,000.

It is safe to assume that Bitcoin will rise in 2018, although given the market volatility, there will be fluctuations that may bring it down especially in the second half of 2018, just like what we had experienced in 2017.

I can sense that 2018 can be a different year at least compared to 2017 where Bitcoin gained some prominence and more popularity as well as many bull runs. Now, Bitcoin seems to be a little bit tired after so many events that took place in 2017. However, if the scalability problem can slowly be eased (much better if solved abruptly though) and the transaction cost back to normal then we will have catalyst for more growth. Right now, the market is looking for some stimulus for some rally and am hoping there can be major breakthroughs within the first quarter of the year otherwise we might see a sluggish Bitcoin which is still trying its best to rise to the occasion. Maybe we would see lesser volatility this year which can be what many merchants are looking for before they will decide to adopt Bitcoin into their platforms.

Well, it's too early to jump the gun, but I'll say bitcoin in 2018 is going to be pretty well. But don't take my word for it, as we all know about bitcoin's unpredictable fluctuations in value.

entering the year 2018 bitcoin has begun to increase again after a decline, maybe in this year bitcoin will increase even more than before.

I think no one can guessing about bitcoin for 2018, bitcoin running it's own way and after facing some of critical days it's rise again and again.

for the next few months I think bitcoin tends to be stable. yes that's just my thinking. so if it really happened what I predicted, chances are that altcoin will increase. so we have many options to look for the various benefits of altcoin.

A lot of holders are projecting that it will soar high during the first months of 2018 and will bounce back from its fall during the yuletide season. Hope that it would reach to 20K on ithe first months.

Well i think bitcoin continue rising this year, the holliday is done and we all back to normal again, so those investors are also done to their vacation and back to crypto currency. But this is my predictions only.

Well 2017 ended on a very good note for bitcoin and laid the foundation for the year 2018, this year 2018 is going to be the year of bitcoin taking over the international exchange market. Bitcoin is going to witness a great price boom in the very first quarter of the year many investors are going to invest in bitcoin and governments are going to embrace bitcoin for the economic growth, and the price of bitcoin is going to rise above $50000k before the year runs out.

Scaling issues is very paramount to the increase in price of bitcoin in 2018, I have read articles of many  bitcoin exchanges, gambling sites, wallets e.t.c have started adopting and putting into use SegWit2x while others are adopting Lighting Network LN I believed once these scaling problems is resolved it will accelerate the price of bitcoin upward in 2018.

I think, bitcoin will rise again but, takes a long time, because bitcoin must return back bitcoin users, after the celebration of christmas and new year, whose sales increase so bitcoin down.

we cannot predect the price of all altcoin and bitcoin. hopefully bitcoin this year will not dump too much and
