Title: Bitcoin 0.3.23 on CentOS x86_64 5.6 static build -- binaries included Post by: senseless on July 07, 2011, 04:49:04 PM I spent about 24 hours trying to get bitcoin to compile on my centos 5.6 box. I finally did it. I figure other users will have the same problems I did so I tossed the binaries up on the first dropbox type website I could find (drop box was offline)
If you have any problems downloading let me know and I can toss it up somewhere else. The file bitcoin.tar.gz includes bitcoin and bitcoind compiled under CentOS 5.6 X86_64 with static libs (the binaries are quite large) http://www.2shared.com/file/x0YX-By_/bitcointar.html Admin, feel free to move the topic to the appropriate category.
