  Kindly share your thoughts guys.  Is this the right time to buy And hold or not?  Causes  i have doubts maybe this is another bull trap Again . I need Some suggestions about this rising moment Of bitcoin Guys.   

there is a very good chance that bitcoin will continue to grow and be adopted more and more in the coming years, in other words in long term. this means buying at any price and holding is a good idea and any time is a good time to do so.

if you want short term then the "better" time is when the price is still low and everyone is selling. meaning back when price was $12k-$13k. back when everyone is spreading FUD and calling bitcoin dead or dying and talking about altcoins overtaking it! my personal indication is always 30% lower than the ATH ;)

As of press time, the cryptocurrency market is growing green with Bitocin surging a little almost now reaching $16,000 level but then there is a big chance it can soon go down to $13,000 due to lack of good stimulus on the market. There seems to be no big good news that can sway the market really up. Now, if you are looking to get in into Bitcoin just wait for it to get into a little dip. We are still waiting for news on the Lightning Network and actually before the implementation of LN is the best time to join the Bitcoin bandwagon. I am seeing Bitcoin soon going back into the $20K level which it did already broke in December and then maybe we can expect it to slowly climb to the $25K mark after the first quarter of the year. Anyway, good luck to all of us in the Bitcoin community.

I will suggest you not to buy now because bitcoins price has already peaked and I think there is less or zero chances for the increase in price. So buying at this price will be a loss .

Well one of three things can be happening right now:

1. A bull trap to $16.5K before a drop to $8000.
2. A double top at $20K before a drop to $8000.
3. A new high at $25K before a drop to $8000.

It's always a good time to buy btc and hold btc.

But if you're scared about the price swings, or if you have doubts about investing in cryptocurrencies (in this case, bitcoin) , then this is not the right market for you because, for better or worse, the market will always test your emotions. Just remember: "Invest only what you afford to lose".

And it is too early to draw any conclusions about the recent increase in the price. I'd wait a few more days to see if this trend continues because a 9% increase in the price over the last 24h is just another day in Bitcoin.

It is always the right time to buy a bitcoin and hold if you are going on a long term investment because the price will pile up and you will gain a lot of profit by just holding it and you're going to sell it in 3 years or something.

Very well said sir ! You have first to ask your self whether you will hold it for a long term purpose or you will just hold it for short term and make profit in up trends. Just like sir Herbert2020 said any time and any price is you buy will give you more profit in the long run.
FUD is everywhere ! They are just spreading bad news for them to buy bitcoin at its lowest price.

for now there has been no rapid development of bitcoin prices, but can be sure that this year, bitcoin prices will also rise. I want to hold my assets in bitcoin, and expect bitcoin prices to be very high.

Yeah bro,the price of bitcoin is going up at last arting a line of smile in our face.The price of bitcoin closed at the price of $13800 on the last day of 2017.But the price started his new year with a falling price of $13354..But it recovered its price and became $14709.82.The price of bitcoin further increased and have come to $15019 today.So,you can see that the price is increasing.

We hope there will be no bull trap at least in this month.So,you can buy (comparatively at a cheaper rate) and hold them.I hope you will get a satisfactory profit. And I gave prove that the price is increasing. So,get rid of your doubts and buy.But,it is up to you.No force.It was just my opinion. Or you can tell this a suggestion.

Bull trap or not bitcoin has certain pattern for it's growth. Look on what happened last year, it's rapid increase isn't expected but it all happened so it's also possible that we can see that on this year.

Bitcoin grew to 15,000, and then stopped. An intensive increase in the cost of bitcoin is not yet expected.

I personally think Bitcoin will again up and grow to touch 20kUSD in next few days as all new year and 25th activities are now finished and market is now  in full movement so hope soon Bitcoin price will rise but slowly.

Price of the bitcoim as of now increase again and I think this is the right time to buy more bitcoin because for sure the price will increase more.  To those people have a lot of bitcoin better you gonna do to hold your bitcoin and wait the price to increase more after that you earn profit. Many people for sure happy now because the price this time is 14,950 and anytime possible to reach 15k dollars and possible next week or few weeks it will become 20k dollars because many investor again for sure will invest to the bitcoin so the price will increase again more.  Keep buying and keep holding bitcoin for the future purposes.

I think buying bitcoin would be always a good idea since we already seen the movement of the price from the past if you the old bitcoin holder you will know that there are people are afraid about bull trap but the price still getting increases so you can't predict what will be the price of bitcoin but for me i can say the price of bitcoin can be increase more only the patience can give you profit if you can hold your bitcoin tightly..
Last few days ago or yesterday we are just seeing the price is getting increases and i read some article the price is going to increase after facebook investors invest of almost $20 million in bitcoin that i think can attract other investors to invest in bitcoin..
So in the future i think the price can be burst increased if there is a big company again invest in bitcoin or there are big news again that can attract people to invest in bitcoin..

Not surprised. Remember that the Christmas season is usually not very exciting. People generally have lives outside of the markets, and they want to take a break. I did so myself, when you get into something too much, you burn out and start taking stupid decisions. It's ok to take a vacation sometimes.

Now that the markets are opening again, bitcoin is picking up a pace again and it's definitely a bullish one. As long as we stay above $12000 in the next weeks, we can break the current triangle upwards and this would consolidate a bullish trend. Ideally, we want to close as many times as possible above $14000 and we would be right on track to continue on the the same trendline as the one that meets with the November 13th dip (when we went from $7921 to $4793, in Bitstamp prices).

It is above $15K so I think we are not going to see any significant increase in the coming days. The trend is somewhat like this in the last weeks or so. If I were you I should have bought bitcoin when the price is still at $13K. And then just hold for long term.

The only rising moment that I'm seeing is the Lightning Network. Everyone is really irritated how the network is congested. But if LN could be implemented, then I sure that we are going to push the price again. Sadly, we don't know when the devs are going to push for it so we need to wait.

Why all your options you insisted that bitcoin will fall to  $8000? Do you have any solid basis to support your prediction that it will fall to $8,000? If you have a solid base that the price will fall to  $8000 then share with us


Let me see if I understand, you have bitcoin and want to know if this is the right time to buy more bitcoins? if so, as some people have already said you can buy at any price if your intention is to make a long-term investment, but you can also do something riskier, you can now sell your bitcoin and buy when the price drops to  $12.500, this way you will get more bitcoins

The price of bitcoin has been going down for a few days and it looked like it was decreasing to 11K. Now all of a sudden the price looks like it's going to 18K. So the price could surge further and may reach 30K in March.

how long you plan for holding. price now is good for short term holding or trading.

We are still in the support levels isn't it? In my view, this should be the correct price of bitcoin around $13k-$15k. What we have seen in December is lots of irrational buyers who are buying at top price of $18k-$19k because of all the bitcoin future contracts offering from financial institutions.

However, since the market corrected itself and somewhat the price "stabilizes", I do think of only one attribute that can really push the price of bitcoin, Lightning Network. Let's see how it goes, no timeline from dev yet but I have read that the test is successful.

After a long the price has begun to move forward. Hope this growth will continue to reach new ath often, it's been speculated that the current year is the year of altcoins. The same is getting reflected, because most of the altcoins were growing high in value along with ethereum which is the platform provider.

yes but we are not sure if it will continue to increase cause sometimes when bitcoin climb it always fluctuated (volatile)  and sometimes after the price increase it will continue to collapse like what happened before Christmas bitcoin fall to 13k when the valued increase to 15k. I would suggest not. The rising in this week seems are pump for short profit. Wait after weeks 2 this month, i believes most coins will raising and people starting to buying it more.

Yes the dump in the value of bitcoin during the last week of December has pumped a huge investment into altcoins like ripple, stellar , NEM which has never happened in the past and as we are already aware there would be an unexpected pump in couple of weeks where eventually all those funds which were transferred from bitcoin to alts will be back to bitcoin.

I agree, that after weeks 2 for this month the value or price is started to increase, so now is the time to wait when the price started going up you can buy and hold it for a long term. And that's my opinion, however, ( for the op ) the decision is in your hand, so much better you do some research before you do the things for what you want to do.

The holidays has passed and it has been evident for the past few days that Bitcoin is starting to recover from its correction last December. I have to say that if you really believe in the capabilities of Bitcoin, you would choose to hold on to what you have. Maximize the opportunity you have when the rates are low by buying more Bitcoins to store because sooner or later, Bitcoin rates will definitely rise. It may even reach a new peak that would be beneficial especially for those who chose to keep the Bitcoins the they have over the past corrections.

I believe the price of bitcoin is going up again this coming week. I think we are just seeing the price is getting increases gradually starting ysterday and I heard to some people the price is going to increase. I think because of this it can attract other investors to invest in bitcoin more and more so bitcoin will continue being popular.

Yes every year bitcoin is up, but go down a little bit. Mostly 2 week bitcoin price will up again after drop.
This year bitcoin will be bitcoin year, because the prediction bitcoin this year be better than last year.
So for investors is time to you to invest in bitcoin to get more profit !

I would not say buying at this price will be a loss, and as long as the OP may want to hold, this is still a good time to buy.

Unless he is sure to monitor the charts to find a breakout and quickly buy in either breaking out to the upper trend or the lower one, then he can just leverage on that, but as long as he cannot, then it is better for him to just buy now than thinking of the losses, which apparently I am sure most people like him thought that made them to miss the chance to buy when it went less than $12,000.

I also missed a chance to buy Bitcoin for 12,000 dollars, and today I will have to buy 16,000 dollars for one coin. So I will practically lose two more profit, the decline was assumed if Bitcoin reaches its $ 20,000 dollars again.

Well considering that we're going towards the 20,000 mark after breaking that 16k barrier, it's pretty much guaranteed that we'll see either a drop or some kind of halt when we reach that big 20k. Just thinking about it, I would say that you can hold off until we reach that point and we're either stuck there or dropping. Then, when BTC is low, swoop in and buy some so that not only will you push the price up, but because you'll be getting it at a good price if you hold.

It sure seems that we are having a good start to another ATH race today. The current price of BTC is $16,750 and it looks that we will gain more momentum.
Bitcoin appears to be consolidating in a sideways fashion - and now we reached the moment when this consolidation finally ended.
We could see 2 scenarios here: either bitcoin will possibly see prices in the low $20,000s however if the pressure of the bulls will fail - we can expect the bitcoin to test sub $10.000 territory.

I read an article few hours ago and that is why the price is getting increase due to some people actively getting loan and invest it in bitcoin.
So i think the price will increase but i think it can't hit until $18k maybe the price will play around $16k to $17k.
But hope that there are more people and investors will invest because here in my country almost 3 news channel are talking about bitcoin so i think its just like bitcoin is promoting in news and more people will be aware with bitcoin ..

I think it was the right time when the price was around 13k, still isn't a bad entry point but you may have to hold longer to see returns. I would say that in time bitcoin will almost certainly go over 20k.

That's really promising as of these days coming and price have to climb for more higher value. The fluctuations is very thrill in conditions, which everybody is particularly monitoring most of the time in the market and being researched in the internet, so the popularity is getting stronger and even better.

It is rising up slowly so you shouldn't worry a lot because it will rise sooner. It is just the correction that's why it sometimes go down but not a bit. If you want to buy now, you should buy now because $20k ATH yet far away.

bitcoin prices start to rise again now in the range of 17,000 USD and this is a pretty high price even though this is not the highest price ever reached bitcoin which is about 19,000 USD but this price is enough to get rid of the fear of bitcoin prices are getting down. I'm starting to believe the bitcoin price this month will rebound as many of the other coins go down, my analysis results if the bitcoin drops then another coin rises but if the bitcoin rises another coin goes down.

its going up right ATM so i suggest you buy it right now, if your not expert on TA you can just read TA's of expert traders in newsbtc or same other credible sites that maintains their reputation that way you can get ideas when to buy or sell your BTC or altcoins, but for now its a good entry point for bitcoin.

maybe you should buy altcoin, there are lots of good altcoin to pump, if you buy bitcoin you have to hold it before you sell at high price, that's my opinion ;D ;D ;D

Should had bought at 13-14k, but still its a good time. Buy before it reaches $20k and this time it is reaching 20k to stay there. And honestly if you don't have enough money, investing in some altcoins will give better returns.

Most probably they convert to fiat during those times. Now holiday is over you have to invest early in bitcoin to have good profit in a few weeks from now.

No one can give you a definite answer, but if you do not want to miss a good chance, this might be the best chance to buy. Bitcoin now was in the stable stage, I think this coin now was starting to crawl up because I can see that the price of bitcoin are not yet touch their highest peak last 2017. However still many users are support this coin because they believe that bitcoin was recovered after their fall down of value.

I think it is good that you do your personal reviews and invest according because bitcoin always move in a way that you can not accurately predict it.  I think the current bear market is as a result of issues from south Korea and I think the mainstream media are capitalizing on it in other to bring bitcoin price down. I hear some one on CNN calling bitcoin  "an investment based on speculation and has no value" I think based on my personal opinion bitcoin is going to resume bullish market by next week. This is my opinion and not a recommendation for you to buy bitcoin.

17,000 dollars, a promising light for Bitcoin. But I guess he could not see that level again because of the sales made. It's my belief that if I always look at $ 13,000-14,000. Investments in Bitcoin should come back again.

Last week when it started testing 17k again things were promising, but then the South Korea FUD started spreading and the value dipped again. It's not the last time we're going to see it test 17k though. It'll climb its way back up there in the next week or two, just be patient and HODL.

No, this is not a trap like you fear. This is the reality, after having experienced a huge drop in because of bitcoin banned in south Korea, which affects the price is so great. But bitcoin returns in its course after several days of decline.
It's good if you buy it now and hold it for a while, I'm sure you can have a big advantage later.

Lets just say that we cant identify wether it is going up or down the real reason thats been bothering me  why do you care about the bullish trap of BTC it cant control itself we users are to be blame not the BTC.

At least for now, the price is not going to increase by a lot of money, maybe we are going to see the price stable between 13k and 15k for some time, and honestly, they are not bad prices at all, i am happy with having a bitcoin at a stable price.
