Title: cryptopia scammed???
Post by: nikolya1989 on January 03, 2018, 08:30:40 AM
The site of cryptopia does not work all morning.

Error code 20
The proxy failed to connect to the web server, due to TCP connection timeout.

Begin to worry?

UPD: like already works, but it looks frightening ...

It is now normally visited. I think you have to look at the social account statement of the official website before the post is published. So as not to cause misunderstandings.

I don't like hearing FUDs and panic reactions to virtually almost everything that is not working even for a day or half of it. If you care to monitor their operation and their announcements, you would have known what is happening and would not be rush-posting in here some unnecessary reaction. Maintenance is always needed in every website, most especially to trading sites because they are holding so huge a treasure. They have to see to it that everything' checked every now and then to preserve the security and safety of the platform. It is running now. Learn to chill, mate! You are worrying too much on things that are not even having a problem.

What kind of a way to raise a panic? Is it too lazy to look at Twitter or in other official sources? Cryptopia warned about technical work!

Seeing as though the issue has been solved by now, I think that it would be worth pointing out that Cryptopia is a registered exchange in NZ. Out of all the altcoins exchanges, I think that it would be one of the least likely to scam people.

Cryptopia is getting bigger all the time so i doubt they will try to scam people. It won't be like trex or binance but it is one of the best mid-level exchanges around. When novaexchange went down, most went to cryptopia and they have now boomed

Cryptopia was slower yesterday, also had some errormessages, after a nights rest, had to log in again, but it's back working fine, maybe maintenance or to much traffic?

I dont know about this morning or yesterday but i tried to connect a few minutes ago and i successfully logged in to the exchange. And everything looks good. Maybe they had some temporary issues and they are solved.

whew this got my heart pumping for a minute. I thought maybe they'd been hacked when I read the title. Glad they were just doing some scheduled maintenance on their site.  ;D

If you saw error messages i recommend you stop transactions or trades until the problem is gone.
Its the safest action.

Do some research before posting FUD and implying scams. People like you are bad for the community.
