Title: RX 580 Overclock and Undervolt
Post by: Hoangle1523 on January 03, 2018, 01:40:14 PM
Hi All,

Just started with mining and I'm looking to get better performance from my RX 580 every time I overclock the memory I get a lower hash rate and the drivers crash. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Also is there anyway to keep a stable under volt?
Thanks

What kind of memory your card has? If you have bed Memory, you won't be able to do magic..
You can always copy the straps and imrpove the hashrate and lower the consumption.

Download GPU Z from here: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/   and make a screenshot of your info like this:

And write down what programs you use (MSI afterburner) or you don't use them at all just pure bios mod.

Hoangle1523, I had absolutely the same issue with my RX580 cards.
You should reset settings in MSI Afterburner (set only for fan speed) and use settings in Claymore (sure if you mine with Claymore), as example:
-cvddc 950 -mvddc 950 -cclock 1150 -mclock 2100 -powlim 30 -ttli 75

It gives me 29 Mh/s instead of 27Mh/s with default settings, memory Samsung and Hynix.
