Title: 'Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!'
Post by: TempAccForNow on January 03, 2018, 09:06:39 PM
'For security, your account has been locked. Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com'.

I am trying to get my account 'Danoded' back, which seemed to have been 'banned' for some strange reason. I have sent numerous emails to this email address but have never received a reply from theymos. I was wondering if another moderator of this website could help me in the issue of reactivating my account again.

Thank you.

Sign an address and send it to theymos to verify that you are the original owner of the account.
Read this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0) for details on the format.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a Bitcoin address or a PGP key associated with the account sadly. Is there truly no other way to verify that I own the account? This account and my other account 'Danoded' share the same IP Address, and even though this lockdown occurred two or more years ago, I believe I can still give you some details about the contents of my PMs, an dI believe my account may have had a CloakCoin address associated with it instead on its profile. I can give quite a few details if possible.

That information won't be sufficient. The only way to recover an account is through an address/PGP key. Providing information about PMs isn't enough. IP addresses aren't considered proof either. They may accept the "cloakcoin" address if you can sign a message with it, you'll have to find out by sending that information via a PM to cyrus/theymos.
