Hi All,

I'm using http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ to calculate profitability, but can't work out (feeling rather nooby) whether to enter the cost per kWh, I presume if I'm paying 30c per kWh, I would enter .30 in that field.

What is the best mining profitability calculator out there, taking into consideration rise in difficulty levels, etc?

yes 0.30 is what you would enter here.

But i think it's very important for you to find out for sure if you are paying 30c per KWh, becuase this is the difference between profit and loss.  Especially with scrypt/GPU mining.  use a power meter at the wall to test how much the PC/s draw.  Also if you are in the US you are almost certainly on 120v supply which is a little more inefficient then 240v systems.   this is usually balanced out by the power cost in the US as it's usually cheaper then the EU.  the best place is eastern Europe for mining.  Low cost elec and 240v.

I don't like this calculator! even though it has many features it does not allow you to change the difficulty for future estimates.

And off topic, has anyone actually seen, or felt a KNCMiner yet? I'm considering purchasing a Saturn unit from them. Although, tossing up between Bitfury and KNC, but leaning more towards KNC.

The main page is a list of profitably for a lot of coins, with the current most profitable at the top. They also have mining calculators for all of the coins. Difficulty has to be manually entered but its not hard to estimate values for future difficulty.

Iv'e been using the genesis block calculator for a few months now and have realised that its only good for 3 months max, as it assumes a linear rate of difficulty growth.
