Seriously where are the people buying into this hype?  Not even many banks are using Ripple?

I guess new people just see it going up and think its good to get in while its hot?

Ripple is now in the second place next to bitcoin. So I think those people who bought it is not stupid at all. They may have seen the capability of it which other people haven't. Or maybe they are just lucky.

What are you talking about?  Which banks exactly and are you talking about them using the technology behind Ripple or Ripple itself?  People always confuse these two ideas like its one and the same.
If the banks are not using RIPPLE itself and just using the technology behind it, then THEY ARE NOT USING RIPPLE.  GET IT?

Dude - XRP is used to stabilize the Ripple based transactions. More transactions will require more XRPs. You can argue that the rise is value is too much, which I agree, but the value is there.

I have seen XRP getting created, and used to own few when it was in micro penny, and I did give up on it as the supply was enormous without any real value at that time. Time has changed.

People are hopeful that’s why they buy Ripple and those other coins because they think they could profit from these coins based on its sudden rise and that’s normal to even think of that. As long as they get out before the hype subsides, I think its okay to buy Ripple.

How can you know that ripple has reached his limits? If you actually think not even many shops use Bitcoin and the price is huge. Ripple has a lot of potential and I think that the price could go up to 100$ or even more because it became very popular and already a lot of people buy and sell it.

Nobody knows what is going to happen with it because now it is just the beginning. For the most majority of investors ripple is just a gambling now but the price is going to increase even more because a lot of people keep buying this coin. Maybe it is underrated or maybe it is overrated but one thing is for sure: the price has increased from 0.2$ to 3.5$ in one month. Thats over 30x profit in a small time.

Well, I've traded my TRON for some Ripple when XRP is still at $0.78. Now it's at $3.55. Even though that TRON increased to $0.12 from the time I bought it at $0.02, I never regretted trading them.

I wish I had spare money back then to buy Ripple coming from my own pocket instead of trading my 390+ TRONs. I can feel Ripple will reach $4 or more by the end of the week.

People have been buying ripple all the time , just for much lower prices then now. It really is a shitcoin but their marketing is decent. This just shows the kind of people getting in crypto now.

It could crash but it could also be a good long hold. XRP has a lot of hate from those who follow the original crypto-philosophies of decentralization and separation from traditional banking, but if it's utilized it could rise up quite a bit.

Exactly. Ripple might be worst "crypto" because it's not even a crypto, but if you are making profit buying it why would anyone not do that? If I had bought yesterday and sold today I would had made nice 1$ profit on each XRP, are there any other coins giving this much of profit in such a short term?
XRP will definitely crash soon but till that what's wrong with making some profit from it.

I understand your point and I tend to agree with you, Ripple may collapse anytime. The price is too high, only based on hype, not technology. For those who hold since a long time, it will soon be the time to start selling. Just my opinion..

I've always believed that ripple was a coin that would swing around in prices like a seesaw due to the continuous increase in supply over time but to my amazement it managed to reach the second highest leader in market cap. Then again as more supply is being mounted, the price would be expected to go down by a fair bit. Hence, we might be looking at a peak for ripple which will eventually drop off.

People ain't stupid for buying decent amount of Ripple because ripple really has the potential in the future. As you can see ripple is still pumping at the moment and may the their asset will increase up to 50% and that is quick profit.

This is the mistake what most people do. If a coin is stable and not moving, it means that it will some or the other days grows exponentially. Happened with ripple. And ELECTRONEUM is the next thing which performs the same. It is stable now at around 0.1$.

It is not stupid if you buy it at the bottom, it would be stupid if you buy it on top just like what happened last year, many people buy on top and ripple suddenly crash. I would suggest that you buy ripple when the crash starts. It won't be long and the history repeat itself.

I don't think making profit is stupidity, what is stupid is letting the big opportunity passed by. Ripple is good for investment. Yes, you can make good profit from xrp, but it is shitty, centralized coin that can be manipulated! So you cannot predict its price. I am sure that nobody here expected to be 4$...

I don't think it's stupid, although it may be true that Ripple is one of the coins that has a low price point, it only means that it is also one of those coins that has a lot of room to improve. Well some people just have FOMO so they keep buying, which drives the prices up higher. Most likely the ones buying are people new to the crypto space trying to make a quick buck.
