Nem: Low profile but high technology. 10usd and beyond for sure...

why you think so? nem has big supply and now everyone are distracted by the ethereum surge. this year going to be tough to the other. but it is only my opinion though

That means 10x of the price nem now. I think for Q1 maybe nem can not reach it yet, but i am sure nem will pump hard and maybe in Q3 or Q4 will happen it.

I hope it wont happen. BTC dominance on ATL and if nem and other top alts stay bullish btc will drop to 20% but then become the aggresive recovering and all alts even not pumped enough will hit the new dips ( comparing to the summer ones)

A lot of things will be delivered this year and NEM will emerge as one of the extreme few coins ready for and actually doing business. It has plenty of features nothing else has and they're ready to roll right now. There's going to be an avalanche of further partnerships and announcements.

$10 in Q1 is a big old ask though. Regardless of price I do think that by the end of the year it's going to make the vast majority of the top 50 coins look like empty jokes built on nothing. They've been beavering away in the shadows coming up with actual results and they're coming to fruition.

In the first quarter is unlikely, but at the end of the year this is completely possible, if the market cap of all coins will be several trillions

I completely agree man, XEM was first coin I ever bought, round 20 cents each. Holding on to that stash for a long term outlook.

most people are waiting for the ripple 7-8 dollars. I think the moisture is an original project and will be better. $ 10 could even see over. :) good luck.

I think Q1 is quite ambitious, but however I think that it may be possible until the end of year when there is another BTC rallye

Too much holders that it's unlikely to be $10 per NEM. When price begin to grow many holders from summer '17 try to sell. Thereat XEM was till 18k sat. While we have such holders no chance

NEM isn't bad by paper, but they lost credibility with scam projects like DIM and the exchange hack where half a billion dollars in NEM was stolen.

$10 for Q1 2018... not a chance.

What does nem itself have to do with third party morons?

I think the price of NEM is under serious threat, I don't know when the stolen tokens will start to appear on exchange but if these tokens start to surface on exchanges expect the prices to start reacting to this, I don't see the price go that high this first quarter

NEM is probably one of the most stabilized coins in the market, it doesn't have volatile nature. This gives trust to investors. I think neo is safe to add in your wallet, I am planning to add some.

Nem is completely different from what we have right now and this can have a bad impact on it as i see many complaining about their transactions not being sent or some forgetting to enter the message and lastly exchanges taking days to process if someone can figure put how it works then it can achieve your goal

Rather than nem, there are better opportunities in the market, nem will be probably better in 2019 but I can suggest few coins that have very high potential, nem also has it but it is not undervalued. INS and OAX will be the coins of 2019. I have already invested in them.

10$? i think this is possible in 2-3 years, but not in q1 and not this year ;-).

In the current state, I do not think that Nem can reach 10usd in Q1 2018, but this could be possible at the end of this year since NEM is very popular in Japan and they also have many partners especially in Japan . Personally, I prefer to buy NEO or Ethereum rather than invest in NEM, because at least I think Ethereum has more potential and better visibility than NEM.

This will be possible if huge major buy orders,adoption or any extra ordinary partnership nor support will come on them, But this one will hard to achieve since remember we have so many good coin of choices and the investors money will be splitted that's why we can rarely see a cent value coin will pump until it reach to 10$ level. But if good strike will hit then the NEM holders will became millionaire if they have hodl balance since then.

It's not a bad thing. The people who invested on NEM are going to be lucky someday. This is gonna go further in the next quarters probably in quarter 2 and quarter 3.

I really like NEM too. Better tech than either BTC or ETh in my opinion. It isn't called Japan's second favorite coin for nothing. Although it wont reach $10 in Q1. Maybe in the future maybe in Q4? ???

XEM certainly a very promising coin, because of this it is in the top 10 coins. But the fact that you wrote it out of fiction. That would xem reached such prices will require least 1-2 year, in the best case. You don't take into account that the market is full of competitive coins, which is not much inferior to XEM.

You just never know. NEM took a real hit with the hack on that unmentionable exchange in Japan, and they will be so embarassed that it happened as if they did not learn from the flaws of Mt Gox. But I believe this is one of those slow to rise coins, and the fact that it has dropped even more now and because of bad news makes it a really attractive LONG TERM investment. I am adding this to my portfolio this year. Regardless of the price. I have said it before anyway, and the news has not changed my mind.

Just under 90 billion dollars. Certainly very high but not unreal. It would take the whole of the crypto market to rise accordingly and hugely unless NEM was adopted by the US government or something, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility if this year turns out to be an epic one.

This year could go either way, but never say never.

Well to many doubts will came for thinking that they will reach for that far, but possibilities are still there since NEM is not and dump and pump coin its stable so if government or any huge institution will adopt it well NEM will cross for that price. Let's just wait for this possibilities happen and if people had strong faith that this one will be happen then buy and hodl is a must with this.

NEM is still on its downtrend line this year from $1.90 to 0.53 currently, with a market cap of 4.775 billion dollars. It can rise somewhat in Q1 2018 when the market recovers, but nowhere near 20x to $10 which would give it a marketcap of 95.5 billion.

I agree with you. I will be surprised if by the end of q1 2018 we see a price of NEM 1$. Although he reached this mark, it was on the rise of the market.

So it was supposed to be an update. The project itself is not very large, but people are trying to bring it out in the best coins. And that is the confirmation of the speed of transactions, security and ease of use. So we hope that first up to 5 dollars will come and then we'll see.

The supply is not very big. The project looks very potentially. The team must a lot to do to implement.
I do not think that the price will reach $ 10 in the near future. This is a long-term project.

at the expense of $ 10 - hardly even at the end of the year. But Nem is confidently holding the top of the currency and unambiguously with the growth of the overall market capitalization, new money will come into the project. The coin has an organic price change, which means that its value will directly depend on the news background and the actual expansion of its use. You can not make a lot of money here in a short time, but this is a good option for hedging risks

NEM is a nice project, but i doubt if such price would be achieved within a short time frame. $10 is a price for 3 to 5 years

NEM has good technology and getting the value of $10 is not impossible but it will not happen soon. Maybe next year or the following year. Because of its huge circulating supply, it will be hard to go up quickly. Take a look at XRP, good technology too but it has not yet even reach the 5. Maybe NEM can reach $5 the end of the year. My opinion only. Market may move against or with the traders/investors.

I expected one dollar in 2019 ish. Instead it got there within a few months of me wondering. People usually overestimate the shorter term and massively underestimate the long term.

It is difficult if ETH continues to increase strongly. NEM has good technology. But it's not as good as ETH. It's hard to make $ 10 when people invest heavily in ETH

NEM do have great potential in fact there was huge pump few weeks before then it back to 0.5 $ so XEM could be 2-3$ in Dec 2018.
might be in 2020 NEM will be hitting 10$ ..

NEM will grow and will cost more than 10$ in 2018. I think that as many people expect and forecast, this year can be the year of NEM.

Not bad, not bad. I wait for similar prices. But now no chance. On uptrend market when BTC up all alts and coins as rules go down. We need catapult for XEM. It's will be catapult for price  ;D

In the coming time, NEM will have a pretty big event held in Q1 2018 and I believe it will reach $ 1 sooner. The market is recovering, you can see that most of the crypto coins are going down quite a bit from two to three times its peak price because I believe these coin will regain its value in a few months until the market recovers.

ANy idea when they can release Catapult ?

Nem is a solid cryptocurrency which always landed on the top 10 in terms of market cap. But i doubt if it will reach $10 this first quarter of the year. I could see NEM's value ranging from $1.5-$2 this year 2018.

Rumored that on end of Q2 '18. But we so long wait this Catapult that I think it not add much to price. And now I bought more and more only  ;D

it would be nice to see XEM per 2$, I have already this coins for around one year and still didn't get any profit, how long I have to wait more?:) per $10... unlikely

Why is NEM dropping so much? That one hack makes that much of an impact?

It's a very thin market to start with. Chuck in the exchanges closing wallets all over the place and that's going to subdue a market that's smaller than average for its rank.

I also have an opinion that it will be very difficult for me to reach $ 10 this year, I'm sure the increase will definitely happen but it will probably only reach about $ 5.

NEM has some very promising releases this year like catapult and DEX. But $10 is pretty much for Q1, I guess it's the goal for summer.

NEM market Cap is at $5.28Billion with a unit price of $0.5.
By the time NEM hits $1 its market Cap should be $10.56Billion which would place it at Nø 7 on the table.
If it's able to Hit $2 , its market cap would be $21 Billion, which would place it below BCH at Nø 5 on the table.

These heavy movement cannot be achieved in 1 quarter unless NEM signs a deal with Google.

$10 could be too much. They have good tech, but they're missing more marketing towards the community as their potential is much better than their current status.

I would have guessed before the end of the year, the fall is as long as it is for everyone, but the rise will be heavy, although the indicators are good. Let's see of course, there are hopes, but ghostly.

In fundamentally, the coin is strong, as noted above. But up to 10 need to invest a lot of money. Unpossible on Q12018. Now majority comes out from the alts and buying the bitcoin (as see on the coinmarketcap.com/charts).

That's highly possible. One of my favorite coins so far.

Your forecast did not work, but I think that by the end of the year this will not happen, the maximum that it will be possible to squeeze out of it 5 dollars. And the project is good in terms of combining the advantages of two or three coins.
