Hey,
Im new to this forum, i signed up to ask how to buy Altcoins?
I currently don't own ANY coins, so i need to know where and how to buy.
If possible i would be happy about any instructions going further than "buy at XY".

Google is your best friend you know? To enter altcoin arena you will have to buy bitcoin or ethereum with fiat currency. After that you have to go to some exchange poloniex, bittrex, binance, cryptopia just to name a few. When you go and register to these exchanges you simply transfer funds there and trade when your transaction is confirmed by the network.

Im currently using Coinbase/Binance to buy Altcoins.
Binance has very low Fees with just 0.5% of your Trading Volume and offers most Altcoins.
To buy Altcoins on Binance you need either BTC or ETH, thats where Coinbase comes into play.

well here is my 2 cent advice
before you buy any coin google it and see if it has potentials e.g ... i bought capassity recently and it has trippled

another one is
try to check the market supply .. coin with too much market supply dont usually go well cause supply will be more than demand so do the math

cryptopia..althought not all coins are listed there

I'm no expert but I recently got my interest in buying altcoins at their lowest price so probably you need to check first what altcoin you want to buy as some altcoin isn't available in some exchanger. You can check coinmarketcap and on the Market tab there's a list of exchangers there accepting that certain coin. So if you know what exchanger trades your target coin then its up to you now to register for an account and validate it. You then need to buy a BTC from your local btc sellers or exchangers accepting fiat money to btc. You then give your exchange BTC address so that they can send the funds to your exchange wallet address. Be aware that there are fees in sending funds to exchangers. If it arrives that's it, you have the buying power now to buy any altcoin you want as equivalent of your deposited BTC funds.

I started learning trade from there as they have many 1 satoshi coins which are listed there so in less loss we can learn things. Once we become expert we can move to some big trades like bittrex , poloniex etc

To collect some free coins in Coinsmarkets or Tradesatoshi , u can get coin address from trade site. Then go to http://cryptoguru.tk and claim after some time u will get 400-500 Satoshi equivalent coin there sell them and convert it into BTC. Then start ur trade.

You can buy altcoins at any exchange(google them or use search button here) or you can buy them from someone here in forum, go to marketplace and look for "currency exchange" child board.
Make your offer there if you want to.

first you do that is, you must first choose the exchange you want list and altcoin what you want to buy, I suggest to register in exchange binance just because it has altcoin type which many. after that you first send your ETH through MEW by copying ETH address on the deposit, after ETH you go to exchange you can buy altcoin you want.

Buying bitcoin or ethereum in coinbase using fiat money then put your bitcoin or ethereum on exchanges then buy your desired altcoins.

I think before buying Altcoins, You can go to https://coinmarketcap.com/ to see the market value of each Altcoins, and then go deep into it to find out the right investment for them.

To buy altcoins you have to first create and account on well known exchanges like bittrex.com, binance.com , poloniex.com , mercatox.com as your choice. After that you have to find good coin or study the coin well which you want to buy then go to your local exchange and buy BTC and then transfer that BTC to your trading exchange and then you can buy that coin you want.
 

You have to register on a Exchange like Kraken. Fill out the signup form. Make the confirmation. After that you can transfer some money to kraken. It will take like one day. After that you have to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoins. Look on coinmarketcap on which exchange you altcoin ist listed. Register on this exchange, and sen yout BTC/ETH/LTC to this exchange. When this happend, you can buy your altcoin there! Have fun!

Altcoins are bought on stock exchanges, it is best to buy on the stock exchanges cryptocurrency (for example, Bittrex or Exmo), because. exchanges do not support many currencies. you can buy altcoins not only with BTC in some cases its also possible to buy them with etherium.

Binance gives an error when entering the site a few days. Now Bittrex is working better.

Watch it on youtube search this "how to trade altcoins in exchanges" you will find it very easy.

There are a lot tutorials on YouTube and other web-pages, but really its better to learn in practice, just take little bit of money and buy some coins. And you will easily get aware of exchange systems.

So depending on which country you come from, different countries have different ways of buying, and generally you need to buy the bitcoins first, and then buy altcoin in bitcoins.

you must have a bitcoin or ethereum first run out it's an exchanger to the coin you want to buy
my advice before you buy altcoin you learn trading buy coin at low price do not buy coin at high price

Maybe you should have some bitcoin or ethereum for cheaper altcoin’s exchange so you can get more altcoin because bitcoin and ethereum selling price is higher than other altcoin.
You’d better learn how to trade altcoin for a cheap selling so you’ll have better trading skill in altcoin world.

Register on the exchange ,making Fiat - that is, currency . Either you buy BTC on exchange and make the exchange altcoins and buy what you want . Very good exchange in my opinion this is Bittrex . Binance , Betfinex , Hitbtc . But many closed registration . On Binance times a day you can manage to register . Is a young Korean exchange

First i strongly recommend at you try to watch in youtube regarding trading or searching in google.
There are too many exchanging site you may able to trade altcoins from your bitcoin, just like bittrex, poloniex, binance and hitBTC.
If you want quick buying altcoin direct to your wallet adrress just use this site https://shapeshift.io automatic process and the you have it.
Always remember for those site I've given above they have transactions fee but i think it is normal.

 :)hi , before you buy you need to decide which currency are you gonna use to buy them, so basically you have ETH or BTC. buy them using coinbase, and register and verify exchanger like bitrex,binance,poloneiex then you have to deposit BTC or ETH to that exchanger and buy Altcoins.good luck!! :) :) :)

There are so many exchanges out there like binance, hitbtc, cryptopia and etherdelta. You can buy Altcoins there but i strongly recommend to study cryptocurrencies and how to trade before diving right away without any hint about how crypto works.

First you need to buy bitcoin  to start trading of altcoins but if you don't have money to buy btc you can participate in some bounty campaigns where you can get free altcoins.

Go to any exchange which has ability to deposit from bank. What I'm using, are Coinbase and Bitfinex, but Bitfinex now has limit for minimum holdings of 10k.

First of all u need to buy BTC it depends on what country you are. Most alts have BTC pair, less ETH pair and just few tradable for usd. Better way to find friend miner or at last local bitcoins.

You must specify which altcoin you want to buy, If it has been determined then you should choose an exchange that provides the altcoin trading feature.
