I was thinking, and I don't have any reason to think it will happen in a near future, what if Bitcoin collapses, the bubble explodes and his value goes to the hell.

There is any way to convert our altcoins to fiat? I know if this happens, all the all the cryptocurrencies would be affected, but in this unrealistic (not at all) scenario, what could we do in order to save our profit?

It will never happen BTC will never disappear in my opinion. Let say if these can happen, what you can do right now is to at least convert a small amount of your BTC's profit to fiat from time to time.

Well it is simple. If Bitcoin or we call it BTC disappears then another one will surely replace it either the second third in rank in cryptos or it does matter what rank it is but as long as it performs equal or much better than BTC surely it will gain its trust get more users.

You are going too far to think about that scenario.

If you're scared, you should sell when everyone is buying crazy. It's a good way to make a profit.

First of all, I dont think bitcoin will disapper and just explodes, I believe bitcoin os a legitimate currency and its value is not a bubble but a result of people recognizing its role in the future.
Having said that, if bitcoin should explode and disapper, it will cause a great disturbance to all cyptocurrencies, I think the result will be severe, people will not trust any coin anymore triggering the collapse of this entire system, let ius remember that bitcoin is the first crypto and the flagship of the system and also has the largest market share in the system.

If BTC disappears, then he will be replaced by another coin, but I think that the BTC will never disappear!

i think that bitcoin will never disappear because it became popular and good anonymous but what if there are not bitcoin i think that there will be new other crpyto currency that will replaced bitcoin like ethereum and other

If COINS disappear, then the whole encryption money market will disappear, because each national trust COINS, if do not have the COINS, so they will believe encryption money market?

An approximately $250 billion dollars worth disappears?

How can it disappears though? Its not like BTC is owned by individuals or organisation..

If btc disappears all alt coins will get affected, majority of alt coins somehow use as an alternative to bitcoin. More alt coin would probably die together with bitcoin "If that happens" , but I highly doubt, bitcoin will never disappears maybe overthrown but wont disappear! Bitcoin is much more mainstream and widely accepted than other coins. Not gonna happened.

If Bitcoin disappear, it will mean the death of altcoins too. It could come from governments who could forbide Bitcoin and altcoins. That could make Bitcoin disappear. Or if mining Bitcoin is not profitable anymore and all the miners stop to mine it, Bitcoin could disappear.

I think the scenario that will happen if bitcoin disappears is, at first everyone will sell their altcoin because of panic and fear their coin also disappears, then after a few months, another altcoin will replace the position of bitcoin, possibly altcoin it is etherium

I agree if it happened that bitcoin will disappear for sure there will be better cryptocurrency in replacement to it just keep your self updated on cryptocurrencies.We all know that investing on crypto is risky therefore you have to be prepared on any risks.Though we also know that bitcoin is a strong cryptocurrency with little chance to dissappear.

Of course, as I said, I don't think this gonna happen. And when i say "disappears" is not like a magic trick but progressively losing his value.

I just was thinking that if this somehow happens, try to think about thousand of people trying to withdraw their money from Coinbase, etc due to the fear of lose their investments, I don't think any exchange can afford that.
That being said, if convert alcoins to fiat almost only way is convert to BT first, it would be a disaster. Even if ethereum get the spot from BT, as other user said, there is no trust anymore in cryptocurrencies.

Do not worry, if you are afraid bitcoin will disappear this might be when you sell all your assets. But in my opinion, bitcoin will still exist as the technology develops

The only thing that will be changed if the bitcoin disappears and then ethereum should rule the crypto and majority of bitcoin pairs will be replacing it with ethereum, there is no different with bitcoin and that's all.
Please don't feel panic about that because anything can happen.

I also think bitcoin will not disappear. Eventually bitcoin is the one who started the history of blockchain world. Just because it is dropping little bit in recent days doesn't mean that it will disappear.

First if all , Bitcoin is not going to disappear so soon . Bitcoin still has a tremendous value and an untouched domination among all the other alternative coins . It is going to take years for other popular coins to come to that level of value .
Even if bitcoin starts to disappear , it will not disappear overnight . Every one will witness bitcoin getting disappeared slowly and will have sufficient time to convert bitcoin into other alts  using different exchanges available for us .                         

Probaby it can happen if a centralized coin like XRP beats the BTC? the bankers win and we will go back to the old fiat currencies.

I do not think that bitcoin will disappear because look at the people who invest on bitcoin theyre a lot and also the bitcoin will never be disappear because it is the currency of all our the one who started crypto currencies

It's strange why you had such thoughts, because now the whole new system is developing, big money comes,conversations in news and newspapers, everything will be fine do not worry, bitcoin will not be lost

I can confidently tell you that bitcoin will not disappear. There is a lot of interest in it. the community will protect it to the end the worst that can happen to it is for an alternative coin to replace it .Crypto currencies have come to stay.

The whole community will be at risk,or worst it will crashed the entire system,but that is just a fiction it wont happen in real life.

Bitcoin is going to stay around for a while because the coins that are being built now are using the technology from Bitcoin.

Well if bitcoin collapses or falling so hard, it's not means crypto currency is dead. You can convert your bitcoins into another altcoins before it fall more harder. Cryptocurrency is not all about bitcoins, but yeah bitcoin is take a big part of it. If bitcoin collapses, pretty sure it will affect to other altcoins.

I guess, Ether will replace BTC if thats the case. But, I don't think BTC will disappear even after mining 21M total supply.

One think is pretty clear if bitcoin collapses it takes whole cryptoworld to point where it all started.That would be the last think that every investor would want.So that's bad dream to even think.Bitcoin is brand now,it is the face of Cryptoworld.Half of the investor don't know what crypto is but they know bitcoin and they know it is trustworthy and by seeing bitcoin rise they want to invest in other coins,so hard to imagine Crypto without bitcoin.

If bitcoin collapses, then there is a mandatory replacement. There will not be a complete disappearance of crypto currency, just need to guess what the alternative will be and then it can and will show growth as bitcoin and maybe much higher.

Seems like you're in day dreaming. i never think about that and i won't to think it. Bitcoin will never lost and if oneday it happens, there so many potential coin who will be the next to bitcoin. Absolutely, don't thinking too far. We can't know what will be happened in the future. But, indeed there so many reason before bitcoin dissappear.

I must guess, you dont understand what that guy is saying. If Btc disappear suddenly then it will be a great disaster to this generation.  Alot of rich people will be come poor. Frustration and depression will kill many. The best thing to do is to always pay yourself every month by converting some of your Btc into fiat. And maybe putting the fiat into some business.

In my opinion,  I think bitcoin is not going to disappear. Their are other better cryptos like etherum to replace the number 1 spot.

Bitcoin won't disappear or die anytime soon but if it does, well a lot of people will be disappointed and for sure many of people whose life is into cryptocurrency now will lose their investments and even their mind because it is money and people are crazy about money. I'm sure if it is about to disappear, the system won't let it happen.

I dont see that happening.. even if it will happen there will be a way around it. people and big brands have invested millions of dollars
and they wont allow that to happen. it wont happen in this century. maybe next century of which we wont be here by then.. IoIz

I don't think that Bitcoin will disappear, bitcoin has built a really big reputation in our economy. It may dump a lot but it won't be gone or it won't disappear. What happened in the past won't happen again this time. Seeing people and users are happy with it service and as long as bitcoin users are still investing in it, it won't be gone.
