why ledger?
Ledgers support more Alts from what I see and from what I can tell there’s usually more development on the Ledger side of things than Trezor. Both are open source so it’s really just up to developers to add support for a certain coin for it to be usable on a Trezor or Ledger. Whatever’s cheapest will work though IMO. Neither is significantly worse at security than the other.

Wrong section (you may want to move it).

As to answer, I would say trezor due to the features they have, though they do lack many altcoins, however with the trezor core (or trezor t?) that will change. If I were to say ledger, I would suggest ledger nano s because ledger hasnt been active with the ledger blue (despite them stating updates are coming, but for a $300 device, you would expect them to have the same (if not more) features as the nano s). Also, imho, hasnt been as much transparent (saw a post from the cto that their firmware is being done internally, but why not actively commit to github if that is true), and idk. Which ever you choose, look at your reasons behind it as well.
