Title: Canaryinthemine: Noob restrictions...
Post by: Tom_C on August 06, 2013, 06:44:18 PM
can be a real pain. I've never posted, yet I try to post this and the board says my IP posted less than 360 seconds ago? Odd.

New noobs, know that you can't send private messages either.

Canaryinthemine: I sent the btc, I can't send the private message you require; I can't post to tell you that I can't private message you.....

I can't even expect that you would see this in the Newbies section.

You can PM after making one post, unless they recently changed it.

Nope, still locked out of messaging.
And I had to sit and wait for 6 minutes just to be able to tell you that. Ug.

Try posting in the whitelist thread.

It wasn't immediate, but the messaging capability did appear.

The whitelist request was sent. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

And thanks for enduring my rant frustrations.

The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago. Please try again later.

Grah!

I feel your pain. It took me about 10 trys just to sign up for the fourm. I waited a while and used firefox instead of chrome and I was able to regester. I kept getting "you already regestered 45 seconds ago" even though my account had not been created.

Same problem here, very odd.
