Title: Crook in "Services"
Post by: JohnnyCashers on January 05, 2018, 01:34:25 AM
I participated in companies in the "Services" , and both times I have not received payment for the work. Here is the theme:
1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2608212.0
2. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2656043.msg27490810#msg27490810

these themes have the same layout and design, and the same reason not to pay in the end for the work done. I think it's one fraud using two accounts, And all the profits for the work done takes Takes himself, instead of paying workers.

Doesn't look like they had Escrow. In essence, don't join campaigns that aren't escrowing funds (manager or an escrow services). Saves a whole lot of trouble.

I love this quote by Yankeestyle:  "Campaign is closed due to some reasons. Im not able to run this campaign anymore sorry to all."

The second thread there is locked and I can't quote it, but that's Yankeestyle's quote--and it totally sounds scumbaggy, and he has been tagged appropriately IMO.

There are a lot of crooks in Services, so watch out.

Yeah, their post about not able to continue their services is fishy, but also very vague. Will payouts be made or not?

Someone really needs to do something about all these bitcoin acceleration services. Its ridiculous and scammy. Maybe theymos or the moderator there should make a sticky post at the top of the services board to access all known 'free' bitcoin acceleration services without getting scammed by everyone else.

I don't that is happening anytime soon. There is no point even bragging about it because there is no action from the forum staff at all.The services section is filled with Acceleration Threads out of which 90% of them are filled with scammers and account farmers. And it is not even a less known fact, most of seniors in the community would admit to it but then again what's the point ? A thread in Meta dies without any action taken.

Global Mods try to do their best but certainly a stricter action from the admins is expected.

I actually used one of those services by a guy named Jimmy something, and it totally worked and I tipped him $5 in dogecoin for doing it.  So the accelerators aren't all scammy, but I think some of them are.  I think some of these guys are doing it either for tips or for positive feedback.  Nothing on bitcointalk surprises me anymore as far as scams go.

Well for sure you can have a look that after Coolwave got exposed, few days later massive amounts of accounts were made and were used for the accelaration, and all of them wanted you to 'tip' them for doing their shit work.

I don't think its that hard if we have a sticky in services for these accelerators. I would think that its best of you to decide which one you want to use and how much you'd like to pay for it.
