While people are hyped in trading XRP/ETH/TRX, on the other hand, Litecoin has been stay at the same price range for a week already. I am wondering if LTC still have room to growth for the next couple weeks. Any reason to buy/not to buy at this moment?

I think it is. LTC now is close to 'old values' and I guess it will be next 'alt-pump' from the big coins.

Litecoin will drop to or under 0.01 as it often does before rising again. Look at the 1d Bittrex charts and zoom out.

I agree, I think LTC should be much higher than where it is. At the very least it should be higher than TRON...

As incredible as it may seem, Charlie Lee known as Litecoin's founder decided not to hold the coins he created. He announced the sale on Twitter, to everyone's surprise. Since this event, I have lost all confidence in litecoin.

I agreed, and I believed this is the only reason Litecoin is still struggling at 230-250. Wondering if it will go downward or still have room to grow.

You can buy at this moment, actually at any moment, because Litecoin is highly dependable and profitable. But do not expect your investment to gain much if you are only planning to hold it for a couple of weeks only. Litecoin is best for long term hodling. It cannot be compared to the pump of TRON (TRX) or Ripple (XRP). Litecoin is a bit old and expensive already. But it will still get more expensive, although not as quicker.

Litecoin correction looks very similar to Bitcoin on charts and both are getting close to end of it
and the next rally phase. Great buy at these prices .

Totally agreed! I was thinking to sell all my ETH to LTC at this moment  (since it is at its peak). However, I was somewhat hesitative as I am still hoping ETH to grow higher in the short future. To hodl or not to hodl this is the question.

Please you must think again before try to put your money in litecoin, How charlie lie already sold all of their litecoin. it may better for you to think another better coin than litecoin, it seems cardano and another altcoin looks better. There is a lot of reasons to not invest in litecoin.

I think there's still room to go up. All the altcoins is going up now. Litecoin is going to get up.   ;) ;)

Looking at investment through extrapolating past chart results has never worked for traditional investments.  It is a known behavioural bias in investing. It has even smaller chances of success when it comes to something as unpredictable and psychology-based as cryptocurrency price movements.

Really difficult to tell. It looks like it should rally soon, given what other coins are doing. But there is no real indication of it happening yet. Long term it's still a good bet though. Short term the market is a bit crazy at the moment.

Did you read why he chose to sell?  He cited to remove accusation of conflict of interest.  All developers should do similar.  People criticise other coins where a substantial holding by developers. rightly so.

Litecoin is a really good coin and currently at the lower end, I'd bought some ltc and may buy some more if it dips more.

I think Litecoin has pumped hard in the last quarter of 2017, so it would be better if you buy other altcoins like Ripple, Ethereum, Verge and Steller.

My opinion is that Litecoin will not grow. It was a pump that passed. Developers are not very active and have nothing more to offer than other altcoins.

In my opinion this is not the best time to buy Litecoin, if we compare the graphs, as Bitcoin grows Litecoin follows this wave of growth, but it is not a natural growth but rather pumped, Litecoin is no longer objective.

I think Litecoin is still a good investment but and don't know if we can exept a bitcoin level price for it. Hodl long term and see how it goes. ;)

The best timing you can have is when the BTC starts to go bull run,alts will go down and bleed hard its more cheaper on thats situation if you ask me.

For now, I am not sure about that Litecoin has the best price for buying. Although its pump overed, I think much better prices to buy may come in the near future.

i think it is not, litecoin will only get pumped and dumped scheme and not really good as investment for now, but if you want to try long term investment you can buy a little and hold. just think if you don't own that coin and wait

I still believe that litecoin is a profitable coin. Inspite of the fact thatvthe founder decided not to hold ltc its only due to conflict issues. A wise move maybe buy a little and hold it, continue to monitor its market value then by own self judgement buy more if it still on your threshold appetite.

Litecoin is like silver if Bitcoin is gold. I personally prefer to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum instead of Bitcoin and Litecoin because both are very similar. They are a lot of altcoin that are better than Litecoin and have more use cases

The best time for litecoin was some days before christmas. When id dumps more then 50%. But when you buy it now, i think its good to because there potential to rise.

I don't really think that litecoin is going to have a huge pump or anything in the near future, i mean the coin has been in the market for a long time now and if there was a ny room for growth it should have happend a long time agao, besides you said it yourself people are hyped in trading Xrp and Trx which are low cost altcoins and actaully have a bright future ahead of them so why not take adavantage of this and dump money into them and get some sure profit rather than just putting it on litecoin where it may and may not have future profit.

litecon and in the long run for some years it has potential for growth, more if you want for the short term and the TRX that invested in it has already made quick profits.

First you need to think about why you are investing. For example i invested because I often use transactions. It is more convenient for me to send LTC than the same ETH

Litecoin is one of my favorite coins. It has a good price and very low fees.
It's not growing fast as some people expect and it's not volatile. The last days we saw a price correction after the pump during holidays.
When I've read that lightning tests include Litecoin too, I was sure it will go up in the future too.
I don't like either that Charlie Lee left it but it was time to stand on its own value.

You just recommened coins that were really cheap and now is worth about 100x the price that it was.

Litecoin is a much faster investment if the investor needed to get the money out or stored for a long time. The price can move the same as Bitcoin as well since it has an active developer trying to get a stronger community.

I also think that litecoin will not rise. Star it came, and now only the bottom. As soon as Charlie Lee Sold their coins, I also the rest took off. And not lost.
I do not understand why create such coins which practically do not carry any value. There is no technology. This is a common fork.
Necessary projects which will change the whole world.

So, a project decides to become less centralized, a developer decides to sell off to remove a conflict of interest, and suddenly you think it is broken and dead? Is this how people now prefer cryptocurrency to be? Do they actually want a centralized development able to control and sway price? What do you mean there is no technology? Have we forgotten already that Litecoin has helped stabilize and test Segwit? Lightning Network? Atomic swaps? Projects that will change the whole world has only Bitcoin, to be honest. On this judgment, no other alt deserves value.

Around this project, there are many misunderstandings and rumors. It seems to me that someone wants to blacken this coin and therefore dissolves the negative news. But I believe in a good future for LTC.

I have no idea. I assume that ltc is indeed a future coin. the price that is currently so high is a great proof that this coin can indeed be a good investment tool. but, of course this does not rule out the possibility that this coin has a low price in the future.

Litecoin has been sleeping all this time, and only recently its gone up in price. Not too sure if it will stay this way, perhaps you can invest there but keep an eye on it.

In my opinion, no! Because the technology of this token is not particularly strong, although there are many community members, it is not useful.

Now is a good time to buy any altcoin. Almost all of them have fallen in price and so you can buy them at the local bottom. This is very profitable for further trade.

LTC are updating the protocol with new stuff like Lighting network very often...

I prefer to buy litecoin when btc is high on the moon, because LTC prefer to be saturated at a particular USD price than on BTC.
