I read about how gold and other precious metal was a safe haven for investors during precious war. And now the uncertainty of war between USA or North korea. I pray we dont experince another war. But if there is, what do you think will happen to bitcoin and others.

That depends on the war.

If the war threatens the integrity of the Internet then the value of cryptocurrencies will plummet. Think of North Korea threatening the US with an EMP device or the Russians cutting the undersea cables - they have been snooping around them with their submarines. In that case you'd be way better off with gold.

If the war just gets expensive and threatens the financial system then the value of cryptocurrencies should rise. You'd be ok with gold then too.

War will trigger another recession that means the bankers and rich people will find a safe haven to store their money,which is crypto the BTC price might reach $50k-100k if a war will happen.

While of course no one wants a war to happen, if a war does happen it would be interesting to see if people flock to btc. Btc is called virtual gold sometimes and it’s supposed to be a store of value. If that is true, it would increase a lot.

yes but when war happen it would really big more big than all war that we would ever see. maybe you. might not even care about you coin anymore. you might worried about yourself, yourfamily and the disease that might threaten your family cause modern war have a really dangerous weapon that might be beyond our wild imagination. so my answer is bitcoin would be worthless than ever before.

If there is a world war, the fate of the crypto currency will certainly be the same as fiat money because if the physical place of the wallet used to store Bitcoin is destroyed or exposed by nuclear attack then that crypto currency will disappears.

As long as the internet will exist and your amount will be safe but remember the human already discovered about how to build internet easily and it can be recovered anytime. you should not be worried about that mate.
Just try to get a lot of positive thing about that. It will always exist at every moment.

When theres a war, cryptocurrencys will be the one and only way for the people who live in the warzone to buy something if there anything around to buy. In wartimes the price will rise.

I think we should not compare the crypto to this metal and gold because they are different. If there is war, I think bitcoin will still be there, it won't gone, it's just maybe all of us will not be able to work here again because if there is war we should think our safety first because it is more important than money. The people who is here will lessen because not all country will have war of course. It might be hard to make a trade again or invest and there might be lost of internet and if that happen we can't bitcoin but bitcoin will still be here like other cryptocurrency.

World war will destoy everything. And Bitcoin with cryptos too. Or you think you will have electricity and Internet in war area?

Depends on what war, if it comes to nuclear war, then all will be toast, our cryptos along with our lives.
If just conventional, affected areas will surely be hit hard with no internet.

I live in the country in which war lasts for more than 4 years. Of course, last period cryptocurrency is growing in its popularity. But also people have started to invest money in crypto to protect them and hide their fortune from others. So, to my mind, cryptocurrency will only improve even during the war.

In the times of war people move from traditional currencies and assets to the alternative assets, so in that case i think btc and cryptos will sky rocket alongwith gold.

If they taske down the internet during the war then you cannot do anything with your coins, otherwise bussiness is as usual. Ofcourse they can take down exchanges etc during the war resulting into all coins upon it getting lost or government seizes them to use it for themselves.

People tend to cash out their money in case of emergency state to be able to buy basic need products. I hope it never happens but in case it happens I would expect panic selling in the market which can cause total catastrophe.

If will be war between USA and NK, it probably will be nuclear war. So nobody will think about money.

U.S making war with other county is not a new thing,they need that for the living,the war is their business they are selling war machines to both waring countries.

I don't think there will be free wifi at McDonalds during war. If electricity gets shuts down you won't have shit. And do you think a farmer will accept cryptos for his food in times when there isn't many food? What can he do with cryptos in that time. Physical items which have a practical purpose, like food, weapons and stuff becomes much more valuable. So I think there will be much more trade in physical items than cryptos.

You don't have to worry even if a war happens. During the 1st and 2nd world war the battles were located in specific areas of the world.
In the rest countries, life continued normally. The communications were working even in the conquered by the Germans areas.
The internet is a web and will always work.
The miners will exist to mine in the free of battles areas and the people will keep the personal keys in papers CDs and USB sticks till the end of the war.
N.Korea is not a thread.

Probably, in case of war bitcoin will be most precious than gold, as fiat currencies will lose their value.
Of course, if there will be a global nuclear war, so no more internet, no more electricity... well, bitcoin won't be your priority... :-)

Crypto's and bitcoin will stay still because we cannot control it. The only way to do is make our altcoins in a safe place before it will happen if it is. And we should consider this a wise idea to protect our assets in the future.

The value of bitcoin will just shoot very high if there is a war,the reason being that,more people will give off fiat currencies for virtual currencies,which will increase demand but ironically,after the war,value may fall because economies may suffer and so there will be little money(fiat) in circulation and that will force holders of cryptocurrencies to sell low in order to get the little fiat available. that is what i make of such a situation.

You're speculation is 100% wrong because Bitcoin and other digital currencies will be no more value during the war. The next coming war will be brutal lets say world war 3 because it will be a nuclear war in which capable of destroying everything including species  therefore you should sell all coins for fiat and use it for survival. During the war all internet, electricity and communication will lost including buildings will be destroyed in which you never know if you are alive after the war.

During a normal war, bitcoin will be very safe, much more than fiat money.
Of course, in a global war, with a distruction of the infrastructure... well, better to have gold.

actually I think that this is a very important and complex issue, because today the modern war is aimed at the fact that, under certain actions, the opponents will primarily destroy the infrastructure. And this means that they will disable everything connected with electricity and communication. Thus, during the war, the use of crypto currency will be impossible.

Watching what kind of war it will be, if the war is nuclear, and everyone will fight with everyone, then I'm afraid that bitcoins will no longer be needed, and gold will not be needed either. Food will be assessed and no more.

It depends: bitcoin and cryptocurrencies depend from a working network; if the blockchain will work, probably bitocoin will be very safe, more that fiat currency.

If in the modern world a war breaks out, the Internet and electricity will be damaged, which will destroy all digital currencies. But I think that the government will not allow such a turn of events.

I think that the cryptocurrency will become such a refuge in the event of war. Or the war will  slow the spread of the crypto currency in the world. In any case, this all will negatively affect the lives of many people. As a pity. For the sake of the interest of some personalities, ordinary people must suffer ...

It is not a healthy way to keep your belongings with you while you have to run away from the war. I mean, if you have to move another country because of the hard circumstances arising from the war, crypto currencies would be much favorable since they are safe somewhere on the internet.

War is already written in the bible, but the dispute between the 2 country which is america and North Korea are really scary, because it  is really deference the war for the past 78 years ago versus the war now using digital system its so really scary, we hope that they would reconcile and be friends  for the sake of the people especially to all children. About Bitcoin even if there is a war it is not affected unless the International Space Station will destroy that the time bitcoin will absolutely collapse and all digital transaction.

bitcoin and other crypto during war is not a safe heaven but maybe it price will collapse, especially if the war happen on the country that use crypto such as japan or south korea or USA
i'll think about diversification now

Here a big thing that I seen that everyone is expecting that war will be surely in future but in actual they are not seeing in the past where many countries made a descion and promise with himself that we will not use nuclear weapons and also we will not go for third world war to continue any war .
So here probability of war is not going more to happen ( in my opinion ) .
And also if it will happen then I am sure that people will move towards the online assets and in that case may be Bitcoin's price will get jump up .
But probably there may be chances that people will sell Thier bitcoin like assets and use them for the need that are necessary during those opposite circumstances in wars , so that can be results into dump of bitcoin .
