Now to prove you are in some way a legit seller, you will need to take a photo of the hardware, with your Bitcointalk username and the date written on a piece of paper.

Maybe give some details as to how many units you have.

I am not going to overlook your healthy skepticism but I'm an Indian retail seller reselling from Indian wholesalers. Not my fault if they want to sell for a lower price. I'm in it just to earn a couple of extra hundred bucks like all associated with the btc industry. Why don't you buy one first before crying wolf at everything?

You are overlooking my healthy skepticism. I don't care if you want to make a few hundred dollars, more power to you. What I do care about is whether or not these are a legit product. So to assist the community I have put out some very straightforward requests.

Don't be surprised if anyone thinking of doing business with you asks the same.

I know man. But as I want people to believe, I have to believe as well that there is someone out there who needs an antminer s9 and is ready to take that leap of faith. I'm new here, but do people really think someone will send out merchandise worth thousands of dollars just like that? I'm a merchant asking for the price of my goods. If someone wants, someone wants. As Haggs said the total amount including shipping should be escrowed.

That was the latest scam a few months back to get the shipping fees and run.

So using the people he suggested for the full amount is the safest way for both parties involved.

See, now that I did not know. I'm new here. I am just stuck in the middle. I can't get buyers to pay for shipping & I can't get suppliers to ship without upfront payment. On top of all that, I'm broke so can't afford the shipping myself. This was a mistake.

If you are in the us it should cost less than $20 in country...

Shipping is not that expensive that it would really be needed to collect outside the escrow deal,
unless the seller is poor.

But how can a poor seller have their hands on a S9?  ???

He was trying to broker a deal, I think, so he didn't have it.  Situation is a little sad when you think of it outside the context of this forum.

Why didn't anybody else realize this was a blatant scam when "Sherlock_er" revealed he's from India? You know, he also has $100,000,000 sitting in his dead grandfather's royal bank account? If you send him $10k to cover the cost of India's death tax the bank will release his funds. In return for your financial assistance and blind trust he will send you a BRAND NEW S9 + $10,000,000 (shipping not included).

Guy is selling anyminer S9s but so damn broke he can't even afford to cover the shipping costs lol. What's next you need gas money up front to make it to the post office?  ::)
