The ability to move against the overall downtrend during previous oscillation pattern at high level makes ETH the leader in this round of uptrend among major coins.

Currently, ETH is the only major coin that sets a new all-time high and moves in an independent way, which can be explained by the increasing application scenarios. ETH will fall only when ICOs stop being crazy.

I'm not sure how high it will grow, but my friend said it should reach $1.500 recently. So hold your ETH for a while. It for sure can give you some X rate soon. But I don't think that we can expect more, as ETH were quite stable in its growth

I do not agree if the price of eth is only guided by ico. I'm sure without any ico, eth will continue to run and its price will continue to rise. Maybe in Q1 there is another surprise from ethereum, $ 1500 or more  :D

Ethereum hardfork on the 28th. I think it will keep going up until a few days before then.

Ethereum as most ICO used as a based coin for new projects and investments help its popularity and price to go up.. So I’m sure it won’t stop increasing until new one comes with better support and more applicable services will soon open.. I’m not an eth holder and have no chance to invest on it because I don’t trust it like bitcoin but honestly it is a competitive coin to bitcoin..

It can go $1500 or higher. In the long term it can go anywhere you can't even imagine. I could not imagine bitcoin at $15.000 but now $50.000 is realistic.

I can not predict how high eth get to , but I expect to reach $ 1500, I still hold my eth because I'm sure the exchange rate will go up hopefully I'm right

IMO ETH will go to $1500 and then will swing for $900-$1600 for few months.

But this is if there isn't any significant changes after the hard fork at the end of this month. ETH will try a POS switch again.

That's about TA, but for some reasons while you are seeing the casper testnet already tested and then the block reward will decrease again at Q1 of 2018 due to the next part 2 of metropolis hardfork and it should worth more and more. The sky is limit. Another all time high will be set by ethereum

ETH has the more potential than the BTC because most of the token creators now adopted the Ethereum blockchain which has an extraordinary feature that has not in the Bitcoin blockchain. That's why the price got its shape in just 3 years of launching it, that the Bitcoin has never got this. In the next 2 years of the time, the ETH also go that price today, the Bitcoin is stood.

I think ethereum is maybe the best altcoin to invest and it looks like that, growing more will not be hard for it. In my opinion, it have a really bright future.

With growing popularity of cryptocurrency and global market is completely expanding and people finding after bitcoin, ETH has great potential and convince many people to buy ETH. So the value of coin will reach to more than 2000$.

As far as Ethereum goes, nice to see if it actually breaks the 4 digit mark, because its currently stands at $997 though in coinmarketcap, maybe other trading platforms already surpasses it. I guess it can reach as high as $2K or even more in this year. Not only banking, but a lot of institutions and ICO's are pushing the price of Ethereum specially the beginning of December. So its look like this is a different landscape for Ethereum, although I  thought that it can really break into the 4 digit, but for me its too early.

Let's see how it goes though, their seems to be a renewed interest in this coin and it looks like smart contract is slowly sipping in different sectors specially in banking industry.

I will write my expectations about ethereum. These are personal comments only. Maybe you want to read.

Between Q1 and Q2 of 2018, my taget price is $1,750.
Between Q2 and Q3 of 2018, my taget price is $2,000.
Between Q3 and Q4 of 2018, my taget price is $4,500.

Unfortunately, I will not share my analysis, only feeling. I can go up to 2k, 3k, 5k this year. It hit 1k earlier than i thought however.

To expect some fantastic growth from the ethereum is no longer worth, but this asset in the long run should still show itself. It is actively used in various ICO, which will allow the price to grow.

I don't think 2018 will be as good as 2017 for etheruem.
Because there are lots of competitors arrived for etheruem.
Stratis is starting their ICO platform.
But Etheruem has the most mover advantage that's why price can easily hit 5000$ for etheruem.

I dont know what will stop etherium become higher price in this period simce the price is going very crazy.
I agree that altcoin will stop only when the ico become useless. So now etherium is unstopable.

ethereum in 2018 for $ 2000 will be easy to achieve. with that price eth positioned itself as a coin in cryptocurrency which is very stable and has a very good sales future.

ETH can go high but also can go low nobody knows for sure but when the ICO thing and the ERC20 Thing goes on like this its maybe very interesting and could go up to 10x or something like that but idk so markets crazy good night or day hehe

I think that there will be a lot to be worthy and he will be second in the growth for bitkoynom, because Ethereum is used in the purses for transactions that he will gain his speed and get even greater demand ,and its price of 1500 is not the limit it's for sure

Eth is much stronger than btc imo, it will eventually overtake the leading position price wise. Just because it's better technologically. Besides, it's getting more and more popular with all those new coins which are based on eth.

I think Ethereum will beat Bitcoincash later. with Hardfork ethereum on the 17th of January. hopefully ethereum network can be stable again and if it is resolved it is not impossible he will beat bitcoincash

I think after the upgrade there will be no stopping eth and we may see eth competing with btc in terms of bitcoin, im eth fan so i would love to see it growing more and more.

I strongly believe that the uptrend of ETH is not even near to finish yet. I think that we are likely to see $1500 by the end of this month, or by february. Until the end of 2018 I expect it to be trading between $2500- $3000. I think that ETH well deserves a higher valuation!

I think ETH will stop right there at 1300 or 1200. It is consider quite high to me and I don't want ETH to go higher. The fee for ETH is high too and its network was clogged too. That is what make ETH price to stop there.

My opinion for the price of ETHEREUM at the end of the year is about trillion i.e. a Price of around $ 10,000. A little pessimistic forecast district 5 thousand. A lot of ICO will be in 2018. Just think what will be in high demand ERC20 tokens.
All friends now advise you to invest in ETH can direct a bunch of x's will not collect, but steady and stable growth is provided to them

i'm glad if ETH price will increase, but it can not said only with technical analysis just like post 1 said
and ETH price not only rely on ICO
but if ETH price is increase, gas price will increase too just like problem at BTC
i'm afraid if this happen, price to send ETH to other wallet will be a big burden to new investor and trader

The higher the eth is, the more I need to investigate the other coins. I have to turn to the newer coins for this, I do. you can search for alternative. There are nicer opportunities do not miss them well analyze you earn many friends

In reality we can't make any predictions about any altcoins or coin whether it is Bitcoin of eth or edr .
Because any instant of time fluctuation with big pump and dump  may arise in any altcoins so here it is totally waste to make predictions for such a long times of year .
Since it is clear that the future of ETH more better than any other altcoins because per month users of ETH are increasing reapidly like the users in the Bitcoin , So here more and more chance for the ETH to grow like Bitcoin .

The rise in the price of ETHER is due to the fact that on January 19 the network will split. And all the people who will have at that time coin ETH will receive even a free coin of ETZ.

I think it will go to 2000 usd soon since the pos mechanism works soon. Also, the ICO market is hot and the price of ETH will be higher.

In my opinion there is a long way evolution for Ethereum and 2018 can be a key year and a great step forward, but there are many details to be corrected such as transactions, the network this is very heavy and needs solutions.

I think we may reach 2000 close to the end of the year, it may happen sooner than that but I do not know I think we are first going to see a correction and then an increase in the price of bitcoin which will be a setback, then ETH is going to remain flat and finally at the final quarter of the year ETH will begin to rise in order to reach my target price.

In this year etgereum may go as higher as $5,000 and above.  Ethereum started the year 2018 very well and we would need to actually look at it performance in 2017 which makes it one of the best coins of the year. It bullish momentum is very strong and I expect it to hit $5,000 before August this year and maybe another strong bearish from there the same bitcoin behave.

The next target in ethereum is 0.15 bitcoin which is more than $2,000 and this is likely to happen in Q2 of 2018. Next year, it will be even more amazing for ethereum.

I watched this movie before, just like Bitcoin's movie. Last year i started to watch BTC's rising, it started from $700 and arrived to $18.000. But it stopped for now. ETH will be the same in my opinion. It will keep rising around $10-15k in 2018. Last two months i am keep saying ETH is strongest coin on the cryptocurrency market.

Ethereum is expected to increase fast in 2018. It has recently crossed 1k and the way it has been maintaining upward trend for some time it may get around 4k or 5k in the end of 2018.

ETH soon to be delisted from large companies books. The functionality of the etheruem blockchain is too slow. Its getting raped by stupid retarded ideas like cryptokitties. i wouldnt expect a lot of profit out of this coin, (especially after the immense incease over the last 2-3 weeks

Others might refuse this but if bitcoin users lose confidence in it people will all flock to ethereum which is currently the next big crypto coin at the moment and when this happens it could could as high as 10000 dollars because with won’t die soon

I truly doubt that... This coin harvested the most partnerships it ever could. At 120bil$+ cap i dont see it go much higher.. just you compare the global influctuation and you see what i mean...
Anyways.. other coins with a similar concept to this are happening as we speak.

My personal strategy is to buy an ETH while it's at a price lower than bitcoin. I'm based on the fact that ETH provides more real payments, so its price relative to bitcoin is underestimated. Plus ETH is this coin on which there will be excitement after the crowd learns that besides bitcoin there are other coins.

We could see that price is suffering(ETH & BTC) because i heard Korea imposed sanctions. But my opinion is that it wont be nothing significant.

The first one that I can predict according to Ethereum candlestick day chart analysis is that it will reach $ 2,000 this month. In the longer term, this year I think Ethereum will reach $ 10,000 which is very likely to happen. As far as I'm concerned, this will be Ethereum's year, because bitcoins are being held up so much and it's a chance for the second ETH to break out in this race.

We don't know for sure but it proves that it is next to bitcoin, i can say it will reach $10k in this year if current prices rate of increase will keep on continuing. Actually this year could be a good progress for ETH compared to last year which has a slow development.

Sorry to say this to you but that is impossible, ETH has shown that is a very solid project but bitcoin has shown that for an even longer amount of time and has the trust of the community, while some other people do not trust ETH because of the incident that caused ETH to fork in two different coins, besides the ico market is not moving as much as in previous years with all the regulations that are now in place.

As all the cryptocurrencies's price are dipping right now and the total market value fall into half, we should change the topic to how low will ethereum price going to get.

There is no highest in price for infinite time frame and the price will keep rising till eth end his business and drop back to zero.
