Hello,

Unfortunately I am a Cryptonoob and have made a transaction through the Exchange Mercatox (Yes I know, stupid provider, but had the desired currency) tried to send my BTC to my Binance account. Unfortunately, I have not seen at all, that there 0.0005 was set as a transaction fee and now my transaction does not go through.

Even though relatively little time has passed since I'm used to transactions that last about 45 minutes, I'm a bit worried. Just because you hear nothing good about Mercatox and I do not expect a prompt support response.

The fee isn't that low, it will probably confirm within a day, or at least on Sunday (usually the number of transactions drops on Sundays).
I've also added your transaction to antpool's accelerator (https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm?m=savePrioritiseTx), but I don't expect much of that one.

Those times are over with Bitcoin, unless you pay a lot more on fee.

Good feeling to hear that its probably not too low, but up until now there isnt a single confirmation. I made a transaction through binance earlier this day of .1 BTC which was deposited on bittrex  45 min later.

You need twice as much fee for a fast confirmation, so it will take a while, it's just high enough to be likely to confirm at some point.

as long as you say I wont loose my btc I will try to stay calm. I would even pay a tip for anybody that can process this transaction faster.

I don't know Mercatox, but it's very unlikely an exchange would pull trick after sending your money.

You can enter your txid into https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ and click "Submit for FREE" at exactly 1 second past every hour to accelerate it. Each hour, you literally have a 1 second window to do this.
