Title: Intel vulnerabilities Spectre and Meltdown finally made public - how to protect
Post by: sister1001 on January 05, 2018, 06:35:29 PM
I hope that by now everyone is aware that Intel has made public the existance of a bug by which it is possible to gain access to the full memory of your system. Thatīs right - including passwords and any confidential information.

If you use Microsoft windows just upgrade to the latest patches. THIS IS NOT FUD.

I doubt any patch is developed so far.. it is a vulnerability with the chips by intel which are in use in computers. lets be hopeful someone fixes the problem soon.

I am saying use the patches because I do know that there are patches. Also, vendors have made public what models are affected so you should at least check if you are affected. Particularly if you use cryptos.
