Is it wise to buy bitcoin when there is panic to quickly sell?

Is this a trick question?

Yes it is wise, i think bitcoins is about to hit 20K line in next days. But I take bitcoins as my savings so I am not selling, just holding.

After every dip, bitcoin came back stronger.

Before Christmas we had a drop from 20.000 > 12.000 and I think latest end of January we will be above againn.

This market seems to be almost safe from my point of view.

Is there such panic? Coz I don't feel it. Everything has been said and done when it comes to Bitcoin. So it is almost safe to say that whatever scenario would come with regards to Bitcoin, it has been dealt with in the past. Any dip or fall is temporary because we all know that Bitcoins recovers quite fast. So there is virtually no lost with Bitcoin. It's all up to the person how he would play his cards...

Yes it is, as long as you can pick more bitcoin at bottom price and then you could be a winner, remember it will always be jumping back again in the future. Those are selling their bitcoin at very cheap price will be regreting it in the future. Look at the bitcoin right now and how it backs again to the moon.

BTC is not worth and wont be never worth so much money.. its just hype... who will use that when a transfer cost around 20$?¿? it is cheaper with MY BANK!!!!!!!! and i though cryptocurrencies were intended to be an alternative to bank...

Why would there be panic? Generally, it is wise to buy more. Steady hands win more in crypto than weak hands. Bitcoin is no where near its potential top.

Well, it is kinda obvious that every time that btc makes a little bigger move the alts will bleed(Thanks to panic selling). If you buy the dip and BTC turns sideways or even down. Then you can make a lot of profit in very short time. I dont understand why people panic sold in these last couple of weeks, when alts have been continuously pumping. I think that most of the people who panic sold lost on the trade.

When there is a big decrease in price, everyone is panicing. They forgot that it is only an opurtunity to buy bitcoin because the price is low.
We all see how bitcoin grow, it will decrease, but will icrease again in much higher value. This what makes bitcoin more profitable.
Just trust bitcoin. It is just a long ride, keep calm.

I think bitcoin will hit more than 20k.

My answer is yes. Here in the world of crypto, you are much ahead of the rest if you have the balls. And it is much better if you have the iron balls. That's what is really necessary here. I know that a big part of the crypto community is still emotional when it comes to price dumps. They still panic and even sell their coins with huge losses at times. These people without guts will just end up whining, regretting, and constantly looking back because they have not taken the risk that ended up to be a lot profitable. Taking risks is a good thing.

I don't even buy or sell Bitcoins anymore.  I have them in time locked addresses and they are waiting for me at  the end of every year.  

Bitcoin doesn't even feel like speculation money anymore.  Sure it might not go up like the alts do and give you insane returns.  But I think it'll give you great returns vs holding your fiat currency and in some years still still give you some crazy returns.  

I see it as my pension fund now and couldn't even touch it if I wanted to.

Wooww I like your proverb, and that is the best formula of a trader. If the patience is gone then you lose everything time and money.

the nature of panic will only make the people experience losses and it makes other people benefit from the people who panicked. therefore chill and patient in waiting for a coin, what else bitcoin.  8)

Yes if you are a quick handed day trader. Panic sells are often short lived so you need to trade quickly in case the dip is short term. Bitcoin now is rising so i guess the recent dip was a just for a few weeks, now they are back in the game

I would sey the btc panic buy is coming. IMHO of course. The alt were bullish enough, btc time is coming

it could be a good choice because usually after the panic sell will happen reflection of the price and it will give big profits in a short period of time.

It depends on the reason, but usually buying btc when it crashes is wise decision. But the price you buy at may not be good price at all, after you buy it can fall a lot more. I remember I was buying bitcoin while it crashes but you cannot predict the dip.

Last bloodbath dated December 23rd to January 2 is the best time to invest Bitcoin as traders are waiting for that moment. Skilled trader got the best chance when Bitcoin dropped from $20,000 to $13,000 while people were panicked and sell whatever Bitcoin they have.
I think it's wiser buying Bitcoin when it dips and sell when it pumped and that's what traders do.

haha. yes, I totally agree with you. There are too many investors have sold out all their coins when they are scared Bitcoin will die. And this is the good time to buy. poor them

The best moment is and will be big down which could be of course done by panic selling of some investors, just find moment like that and put savings in btc.

In any case, bitcoin will be expensive! by the summer of this year I guess bitcoin will cost about 75000-100000 $! This is what all analysts say! if you look at the schedule, the rate rises up! I personally do not understand people, unless you are certainly not a trader who begins to sell when everything starts to fall! and do not understand the people who buy when everything starts to fly up! traders earn a lot during the holidays!)))

That is what I have some buy order to catch those panic sell or stop loss order kick in.

Of course it is really good time to buy when panic sell happen. Sometime you can double your money pretty fast at that time.

It's still not too late to buy Bitcoin. Because in the long term Bitcoin will grow tens of times. However, in the short term, there will be some corrections. As for me I bought it at 13K$. I think in the second half of the year we will se huge rise of Bitcoin.

Do you think it isn't wise to buy cheap bitcoin?

Experience has taught me that whenever there seems to be a big dip in the btc price (perhaps some news or big dump is causing the decrease in the price), panic sell is bound to happen, and that's the best moment to buy bitcoin. Instead of speculating about what is going to happen, be smart, take advantage of the situation and buy, perhaps even place a buy order if you think the price is going lower.

What do you think the experienced bitcoiners did when the price went down to 11k or 10k last month? they bought, and now, they're laughing looking at their profits while the weak hands are probably regretting that they gave in to 'panic sell'.
