- Transaction comment - we decide to abondon this features considering the size of block data
- Mining need 88 confirm, transaction need 3 confirm

Solo mining:
- setup freecoin.conf in %appdata%/freecoin
- fill freecoin.conf in the form of sample freecoin.conf
- use fec-minerd.exe or mining page in the freecoin-qt.exe to solo mine
   example useage of fec-minerd.exe:

Register an account, setup your work, point your fec-cpuminer or freecoin-qt.exe (select pool mining in the mining page) to port 8888.

Getting Started:

1. Start up freecoin-qt, wait for it to load, then exit.
2. Put freecoin.conf (see sample file above) in your c:/users/**yourcomputername**/AppData/Roaming/freecoin
3. restart freecoin-qt, and you should connect and sync.
4. For solo mining, launch fec-minerd or use the mining page in freecoin-qt.exe and begin mining.

No source. Fec-miner not included required dlls, can't run to mine at all . 30 mins 5000+ block premined. Epic fail and epic premined!

I WAS ON 2 MINS AFTER LAUNCH AND IT WAS AT 200 BLOCKS

The dev definitely use GPU miner.

The GPU Miner isn't working at all

7 hours in, >25600 blocks. I can't imagine how fast blocks were generated at it's peak. Do you need to be behind the great firewall of China to have fewer orphans?

im starting to think the high rejects on the pool are due to server location (Tokyo) and 2 second block times
an EU pool with 32 share diff would be great

This setup can not work. I use FEC GPU Miner( Which is published in FEC official website http://www.freecoin.org).

This somehow reminds some other coin released cpl days back, maybe it was something to do with kingkong

was not premined, was instamined, GPU miner was posted 1hr 40mins after launch in this thread but was already being used on the chinese pool by many people

tbh I don't see much of a difference if its a premine or if its a instamine while giving other ppl broken miners etc. Some stated 6300 blocks in 53 minutes or so, giving all "special" blocks to instaminers.
Actually I dont see anything shady if premine is announced from the start, then its miners/exchanges thing if they believe if the premine is actually used to services or whatever plan is.
