Title: New to bitcoin Mining!

Hi,

Im new to bitcoin mining and wamted tp learn more. Im using cpuminer on a deidcated server. It's a quad core proc so im using all of it for mining. I have a lot of question about mining pool.

Really not worth mining bitcoin on a CPU, have you looked at the other coins ? Yacoin is good for CPU mining.

Not yet. Can it be converted to bitcoin? Are those USB Asic worth it?

Depends if you're going to mine hardcore or just going to mine as a hobby...  You'll need tons of ASIC USB miners in order to actually see some profit.

How can the number of USB miners change whether you see any profit ?

at start im going to mine as hobby so i'll have one of my desktop mine with a good GPU. But if im going full time miner what should be my setup to earn a profit?

I think he meant that you'd need a lot of ASICs to make any worthwhile profit. Obviously the margin is the same regardless of how many you have. :)

your not going to make much using a cpu miner.

You better use your GPU and mine some altcoin !
