Post by: anticonformist on January 06, 2018, 05:08:24 PM
I just tried sending my first ever offline transaction but it FAILED, says; Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas]
I kept the myetherwallet settings because I have no idea how much gas to use. Can someone please help, how much gas should I enter in?
The following gas is what i used...

Gas Limit
21000

Gas Price
21000000000

but i dont understand, last time i tried using 210000 and it failed so how much should i use?
also today MEW wallet is saying:

Gas Limit 21000
Gas Price 30000000000

which is different again, so does that mean i would have to change the Gas Limit to 30000000000 also?
