It's not a "real" asset to him. It's only backed by the Blockchain, which he has stated that he loves, by the way:

It hasn't been done (more than likely due to speculation that it's) because Dimon probably doesn't truly feel that Bitcoin will fail. He's part of the traditional banking structure and Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are a massive threat to that.. He's just trying to protect his own interests. Who invest in it are "stupid'. lol.. i think he is the real stupid Every one is unique and every one of us has our own perceptions,ideas, opinions to every single details. For me, though I don't know him personally , he has his own perception. We must respect it but it doesn't mean he has the right to look down On it. So he's basically going through the phases we all went through upon discovering Bitcoin. It takes some people longer, I suppose.
