Still waiting for the release of wanchain and bluzelle but this 2 will be big this 2018, backed by solid advisers and the team behind are top notched. The only thing I missed with bluzelle is getting whitelisted now.

The top 10 coins in the CMC list are worth keeping us up to date. Among the Ripple, Cardano, IOTA, and TRON. These four coins are still worth under $ 5 and currently have a positive trend. No wonder if this year became a year for altcoin because since late 2017, they have shown a positive signal and significant market capitalization growth.

As a new member in crypto world, i think in 2018 Deep Onion (ONION), XRB, XRP, and DOGE have a great future.
Already some Onion and Doge in my wallet and want to buy some XRP. :)

I'm holding ONION, XRP, XP, VIU, XXX etc cryptocurrency and hope to get a good profit from them.

XRP and XRB are already exploding right from the start of the new year so we can hope this will continue in the coming days also.But I think ethereum is the coin we have to watchout in 2018 it is silently increasing while other coins are swinging so ethereum will be the coin of the year in my opinion.
And another coin named siacoin (SC) which is currently very cheap but it may increase in the future so if you have investment capital don't forget to add some SC into your fortfolio.

Bitcoincash and DOGE are totally worthless to invest I predict that these coins of price will crash soon so watch carefully for prices to avoid heavy losses.

Put XEM on your list because it can gives you great profit in long term. Cryptocurrency will boom this year but of course those great coins will go on top. Always invest on a great coin so you can maximize all the opportunity we have in this market. Also invest on bitcoin, diversify all your portfolio and enjoy your great profit later on.

Remember that we don't care about market cap, but about GAINS. That means that lower-ranked coins are the ones to look out for - they are the ones that will be x50 or x100.

I suggest the coin (ranked 200 on CMC) SHIFT. Seriously underrated, no marketing, but a better technical aspect and product than top 50 coins.

Ripple(XRP) is rising very impressive and I think i will keep my eyes at this coin to set forth plans to fulfill targets set for 2018. Investors is very interested in Stellar(XLM) now.

I have bought some coins on binance, including BRD, POWR, ELF and TNT, I will keep my eyes on these coins on 2018, I think they are very promising not only they have been listed on big exchanges, but also for the powerful dev team and the communities.

I don't get it why electrum,? Could you collaborate? I mean they even ask me to register in order to use their wallet. I don't think why is that so I went to register and guess what it doesn't allow me to register even, I get it they promote it as mobile cryptocurrency but they don't have some standard things for me. Could you shred some light?

For ripples and ethereum already in my portfolio. I think this year is the time for the old coins, see xrb has become a monster and has reached the top 20 in cmc. I have also seen doge, iota, nem and maybe this will be interesting and potentially in this year.

Why did you list down BCash, and also DOGE. DOGE is no longer being developed by the development team if I'm not mistaken. Also, what do Viuli and Ember set out to do? Never heard of them before, mind sharing some info regarding these coins?

Doge has devs you are mistaken there, you can go to reddit on doge subreddit ask community if you have any questions.  Other than that you can check github. They may not have many devs but some are active. Other than that doge is simply fun currency that you may want to have.

My prediction for Oyster Pearl already came true.

Now I'm predicting SpectreCoin (should be easily top 50, since it is better than Verge the trashcoin in terms of privacy technology) and Xtrabytes (dark horse coin that could revolutionize all of blockchain - it is currently growing steady, but I think very very undervalued),

and of course SHIFT! SHIFT could easily take 100+ spots in the market cap.

Where you should be looking is sub-100 or sub-50 CMC rankings at least.

The smaller coins are the ones that have the most potential for growth.

That's why you should see what functions the top coins have, and find small coins that do this exceptionally well:

*SHIFT: Better coin than rank 70 substratum - working product, not just hype: they even have their website built on their platform!!! Unfortunately, no marketing or ICO. They are planning a 6 month marketing campaign though. I would invest before this thing goes x10.

*Xtrabytes: Revolutionary coin. This thing could easily jump 100 spots in CMC, when you realize what it is. Holy cow. Do your own research, and BUY BUY BUY!

*SpectreCoin: Makes Verge look like total garbage (and it is), and could easily be a Monero Competitor.

*OysterPearl: This prediction of mine already came true - x10 coin within the last week. It is a IOTA+smart contract platform, and lets people donate their processing power. Anyways, probably not the best time to buy, but keep your eye on it.

My eyes will be on TRX I buyed at 450 satoshi and I am waiting for big pump in next month, after 2 months or after 1 month gonna have coin burn, also very big news they ll anounce in next month..

I will give majority of my support to bitcoin investment but maybe I'll try other alts such as ethereum and NEM but only few percentage because I am still more into bitcoin as I believe it's market will continue rising and making some investment will give high return. Doge and bcash things are the most obvious garbages of the coin sector. Everybody knows this and then there is no reason to claim that they could even be good investments in the future. No matter what, I never put my money in garbages, even though I know it will make 10x this year.

I advice you to watch ethereum this year. I expect many big things from ethereum.

I am currently paying attention to XRP, ETH ,dont know why they show their extensions before the turn of the year until now. buy more stocks to keep and partly used for trading.

For me ETH, BCH, XRP has more chances to be more popular and can give you profit, especially Eth, you should put more investment on it.  I am not so sure with that other alts you mention, if you like them I think don't put high amount on them.

My first interest is in Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and after this the Ethereum and DOGE are also good to have in the 2018. The new year have bring many changes in this market like i have studied the prices history of these currencies i have checked that these coins are good for now. That's why it is really good to invest in this currencies the current year is lucky for all the crypto market.

I have arranged them in order of decreasing possible xxx. The first 5 projects will give you a good gain, without any risk. Just check news about every coin and you will understand why.

If you have that portofolio before its pumped so i think you reach much profit. As i know raiblocks, etherium and ripple are pumped and they still have chance to continue to the moon.

My eyes will still be on 2 of my favorite coins which are ethereum and litecoins. I mean I have been dealing with all sorts of activities in the cryptocurrency industry, and yet they are the only 2 coins that I am confident about, that they can definitely overthrow bitcoin.

Why no ethereum in the list...it should be the first coin to watch out for I think in the year 2018...and already in the first few weeks of the January we are seeing the change in this...I think there is more to come in ethereum this year

I am not sure if 2018 will be the year of the altcoins rather than another btc year, but i watched myself following the trend.
I took 70% of my BTC holdings and put them into ETH, XRP, WAVES and some small % into DCN and LIFE.
DCN had a nice curve recently and LIFE ist just an experiment for me.

I earned a lot with BTC last year and this year i want to experiment with my profit and see if i am able to analyse markets as good as i thought.

But honestly?
You wont do anything wrong putting your money in ETH and XRP for now. =)

I have my eyes on several coins in 2018, but the one Im expecting most from is my precious Aeternity. Pricewise it already appreciated nicely in the last weeks, but there is a lot more room to grow in 2018. With the mainnet being released I guess only sky is the limit for this coin. It will bring so many great benefits to the crypto space, if the team manages to implement all thats planned for the Aeternity ecosystem.

I just noticed the little gem called TNB :) it has a very fun use that is very viable in Asia - So I am curious how that will work when implemented - it could blow up or go sideways. All depends on marketing. Not heavily invested though.

Yes I had watched over 10 coins last year but this 2018 I am keeping my eyes on XRB or Raiblocks. I was totally in awe with how much it had increased over a few months of being listed into some exchanges. I had done some research on this coin last year but found no details about this coin. I was also claiming from faucets of this coin and had no idea itwould be huge, and because I had no idea what the coin was about I sold all of the coins I claimed which was around 3k+ coins; it could've been worth millions now but I can't whine over something gone forever. Anyways, that's just one of the coin I am currently keeping my eye on and also Deep Onion too.

In fact, now I do not want to watch any coins. As long as the tokens in the red zone, I just scroll through the price list. If talk about coins, which I'll keep an eye, so. It's all those that I bought on various ICOs or received in bounty programs. It's always interesting to find out whether I made a mistake with the choice or was right when buying / participating.

yes, I think that's why there is no XEM in the list listed where XEM would be a good crypto for trading and the results are good enough to be kept bitcoin for a long time. it's also very clear that all the crypto is a lot of people who like it like DOGE and also Ripple is my choice and I think you should buy the crypto I mentioned earlier because it's pretty good in the current market price. but it's all up to you I just give advice only and hope you will accept my advice.

yes i watch many coins, my list that i hold is around 30 or so right now. I must say though that your list is terrible, half those coins at least have already had there day and the other half are stagnant. You will have trouble making massive gains off any of those ones tbh. You need some newer fresh coins with great dev teams and real world applications behind them that are still capable of pulling off a x100 gain. Some of the best new or undervalued coins in my opinion are red pulse (rpx), LatiumX (LaTx), Artax (artx) and Spectre-ai (sXDT). all of those have huge potential you should look into them.

Until now I was only interested in Bitcoin but seeing the rise of other altcoins have made me invest in some of those.
I'm really looking forward to altcoins like a Ripple, Ethereum, IOTA , Dragonchain and Substratum.
These are some of the emerging gold coins which should be given some view.

Here are my 5 cents (and the questions I made to anyone that asks me advice on any crypto investment):

- Read and research as much as possible for that particular coin.
- Know the DEVs team.
- Know the marketing/communication team.
- Ask as much as possible to the community (bitcointalk, reddit, discord, etc.)
- Meet (if possible) with someone that has experience in that particular coin.
- Check for a couple of weeks their evolution in CoinMarketCap.com

These tips are useful if the crypto has some age (a couple of months at least).

But then, there is always, the *total* speculative, side of investments, and in this case:
- Do they have an active community (discord)
- Are DEVs accessible (or do they hide or you are not able to contact them).
- Is there a known plan/roadmap?
- Are they listed on an exchange... if not when they would be?

My selection based on this:
