Title: Transaction "Finished" but no Bitcoin anywhere
Post by: S400 on January 07, 2018, 09:57:54 AM
OK - as a first time user I have tried to buy €50 of Bitcoin as a test to see if I understand how to buy Bitcoin and get it into my Electrum wallet.
--
I pasted in the value of the "Receving Address" value shown in my Electrum wallet into the Receiving Address field in the transaction in BitPanda - and paid using SOFORT-Transfer.
--
The transaction is now shown as "Finished" in BitPanda.
So WHERE is the Bitcoin amount I have purchased?
--
I cannot find anything showing in my Electrum wallet.  The [coins] tab in Electrum has no details under the headings (empty list).
I also cannot see them in BitPanda either.
--
Did I do the right thing in pasting in the "Receving Address" value shown in my Electrum wallet into the BitPanda Receiving Address field?
--
Or have I managed to lose the BTC by putting invalid input into the BitPanda transaction?  Bitpanda shows a completed Trade and Wallet Transaction and says that I bought 0.00346489 BTC.

Please post the transaction (TX) ID to check on a bitcoin explorer, BitPanda should provide the TX address?

OK - but WHICH is the Transaction ID from all the numbers I see?

I have the following numbers from BitPanda screens:-
 - Order ID in Trade Details screen
 - Wallet Transaction payout to id in Trade Details screen
 - Order ID in the Wallet transaction screen
 - The PID in the Wallet Transaction screen  (no idea what "PID" stands for)

An of course in my Electrum Wallet is have:-
 - Receiving Address    -  which is what I pasted into the equivalent field (I hope!) when making the BTC  purchase in BitPanda.

Do you know if any of these numbers would be the Transaction ID you referred to?
Or is that something else altogether.
