I recommend https://www.myetherwallet.com for ETH address, make sure you bookmark that link when you visit the site its because there are so many phishing sites copying myetherwallet.com

Its so easy to make an ETH wallet address;
->Goto New wallet tab, enter your password, make sure its a combination of letters, numbers and characters.
->Download Keystore File (UTC / JSON)
->Save your private key of simply print it to paper wallet.

When you're going to login on the Send Ether & Tokens tab, use the JSON file(not recommended you can even delete it) or use the private key while choosing the Private key option then paste it on the textbox.

Yea like the other guy said.. MyEtherWallet.
Its the only eth wallet I've used and as I can see is pretty easy to use.

So, give it a try.

Are you having ethereum funds on the blockchain wallet? This is not at all the advisable one bro. Many of the people having the funds on the blockchain wallet but this wallet is widely hacked by the hackers but still it is not comes out. Many fake sites has been created with the similar text with the URL.
So keep fund on the private key secured ethereum wallet. You need to have the funds in the MEW or Jaxx wallet for your security.

So it means that you don't have those ETH anymore. I have some ETH too on blockchain but it was still there, don't just fall for phishing links as they're hot for now as it's price is urging and leading it's holders to another ATH. There are good wallets for ETH such MEW, JAXX and exodus. The most popular one is MEW, it's either you keep your private key or JSON file.

Another advantage of using MyEtherWallet wallet is you can store all your ETH tokens under same address easily and also you can receive any airdrops to this eth address. I'm not sure whether you use blockchain wallet for ETH token investments.

But remember one thing that you must check the MyEtherWallet web address correctly before you key in your private key or wallet and password. Because many fake sites want to steal personal details to steal money.

If you know you won't send your coins for longer period of time simply use cold storage.... Web myethereumwallet as other stated is the place to go. From software wallets you may check some lightweight clients that are ethereum based or that are multicoin with ether in it.

Myetherwallet is the best wallet for ethereum imo, it's a web wallet like blockchain but this wallet only stored altcoins.

Yes myetherwallet is also supporting ERC20 tokens which is almost altcoins use this token too, so you can stored other altcoins in myetherwallet. I think the biggest problem on myetherwallet is there are so many phising link.

Specifically, Myetherwallet.com supports Ethereum only and its ERC-20tokens, don't be confused with altcoins and tokens (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2251834.0), they are completely different.

Yes myetherwallet is also supporting ERC20 tokens which is almost altcoins use this token too,
Where do you get this information that ERC-20 tokens also used with some altcoins other than Ethereum? ::)

--snip--
I think the biggest problem on myetherwallet is there are so many phising link.
It's not a problem IMO, people have to aware some phishing links and check the URL.

--snip--
so you can stored other altcoins in myetherwallet.
Lol. what other altcoins can be store in myetherwallet?

90% what you said are all false. Try to research again dude.

That's a good choice, just bookmark the link of myetherwallet, link here https://www.myetherwallet.com as what I said earlier.

Avoid those phishing links always double check the link and save the private key offline, make sure that you're the only one knows your eth private key.

www.myetherwallet.com. undoubtedly the best private key wallet for ETH as well as tokens working on ETH Smart contract. But yes it doesn't stores your private key so make sure you properly save it. Moreover its prone to phishing so don't open it using any other link. I just you to check my given link twice its my ether wallet .

There is to choose from https://www.myetherwallet.com/ or https://mycrypto.com/

So that's the two teams that split from MEW originally. I have used MEW many times and I don't have any single issues with it. And for users who are complaining that their "blockchain" was hacked. No, blockchain can't be hacked but you just became a victim of phishing links. For keeps that will lasts a long time, I'll pick ledger nano s instead of MEW.

I think everyone pointed that MEW is really the best wallet for ERC-20 tokens and for your ETH. However, there are other wallets like Jaxx or Exodus that can hold your ETH as well. So you can also take a look at:

1. Ledger Nano S - not so expensive hardware wallet, but one of the best out there.
2. Trezor - one advantage of it is that it has interface with MEW
3. Exodus - I personally used this, not just with ETH but other altcoins as well for my daily trading
4. Jaxx - similar with Exodus
5. Mist - never used but it says its the official Ethereum wallet

MEW is still susceptible to some risks so it's not actually the "best" for me. If you want a secure wallet that also provides all the necessary functionality you better go with a combination of a hardware wallet plus MEW since both trezor and ledger are compatible with it.

Hardware wallets are the best ever wallet until now but the MEW also totally safe as long as we keep our private key safely and keeping our system offline when not needed can save us from hacks. We can track the token balances of MEW on etherscan can help us from phishing links and never ever share private keys of MEW to anyone.

Even though I kept my private key safely, my account at MEW was hacked and all my ERC-20 tokens were stolen...
If you have large sums of ETH or ERC-20 tokens, I would also recommend hardware wallets.

It is not possible to enter into your account without private keys maybe your computer compromosed or you may enter your private key to the clone MEW website but private key is important to access our account.

MEW doesn't stores your data/private keys on any server, so it can't be hacked in a way you think, you were probably a victim of phishing.

Yeah, of course anyone serious about their crypto safety should buy a hardware wallet or could setup air gapped system.

Even how safe you stored your private key, if you put that on the wrong field like shitty sites then you will be compromised.

I really don't believed on that hacking issue on MyEtherWallet for a person that is claiming that their private keys are safe. Try to remember what things you have done in the past so that it will give you some refresh on what really did happened.

Or for added security layer, you can run MEW offline:

https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/offline/running-myetherwallet-locally.html

Its works great. I implement it during the height of MEW hacks because of phishing. You may want to try it and see how it goes for you.

The best wallet for the crypto currencies are hardware wallets which are more safe than MEW because it is in offline always. But it will cost us a little bit less than $100 but you can save multiple crypto currencies as well as tokens in Ledger Nano S.So the people who are not convinced with the MEW security then they should go for the hardware wallets.

So I have heard quite sometimes now that hardware wallet is good; I can't really say cause I have never used, but I am seriously considering to do so though not for Ethereum but for bitcoin. In the matter of using hardware offline for adding tokens, i don't know about that, I am skeptical of it. Most times, I usually want to make a quick check on my account, I don't know how it will be with using hardware wallet for it, isn't it risking my account cause of constant logging in?  And another thing, does using hardware wallet support ERC20?

MEW is the best choice overall. This is good about ETH, that you have all the software you need at the reach of your hand and with a nice UI

Yes, MEW is the best choice of most of the ETH users/holders here.

But as a wallet, it's being targeted and imitated by too many phishing websites and it is not safe for someone that is careless online.

I would rather choose a wallet that is also secured like Ledger Nano S or Trezor but if you don't have budget, Exodus or Jaxx will do.

I hope you are from Philippines. There are huge amount of people from your country here on this forum. I am not sure using the wallet which is been used mostly from your country people.
If you are using wallet always go with the universally widely used wallet and try have the decentralized wallet as your preference. To have ethereum you can MEW which is private key secured wallet. If looking for centralized wallet coinbase is your option.

Coins.ph is a wallet base on the Philippines but it has also operations with other nearby countries in Asia.

It's the most well known wallet because of the convenience that you can withdraw it to cash immediately with various means of cashing out.

But that's the other end of using an exchange wallet, you don't have the private keys of it.
