before and monitored it with both explorers and time and time again, I see the same thing happening. Blockchain.info is just not as fast as Blockexplorer.com {Only problem I have with Blockexplorer.com is that it hangs, if you leave a tab open on different browsers} ??? There must be something with blockexplorer which blockchain.info doesn't have. Maybe the script or something to do with the number of connections. Or they take a snapshot of the blockchain then update the website database twice/once a day. But check your balance there now, it was updated. Last time, I saw someone posted something about this, there was a reply saying that blockchain.info's block explorer is really a bit delay. I was never worried as soon as I saw it on another Block explorer, but still one wonders what goes on behind the scenes and can you really trust what you see on a website claiming to reflect the state of the blockchain.
I guess it stresses the importance of "being able to run your own node" as the basic building block of a decentralised system. |
