Yes, this year begin with some altcoins have blowed the price rapidly like raiblock and tron.
I think this year is very good to start with low market cap because it has potential to grow like tron.
However now appcoins is good to invest because powerfull community in the back and has working product.

Crypto took the world by storm as the 2017 was coming to an end. Obviously this 2018, this trend will continue and very soon FIAT will be nowhere to be seen

Your understnading about the crypto currency platform is not a correct one I think. If the regulation you are expecting to be done with the cryptos means that is not at all a possible one at all. every crypto currencies knows that it is not controlled by Government or any financial medium like banks and share markets.
All the decentralized crypto currencies will not at all control by anyone that is the conclusion for your worries.

People do not care about blockchain or technology. We all care about how much the price of bitcoin. Decrease or increase. We only hope to earn money.
But cryptocurrencies are not money only. They are our future. We have to work to be a part of it.

I think, 2018 is threat and opportunity for crypto. As long as we know, some countries gave 'red notice', some of them was banned for crypto. Some stories told that many people falled as scam victim from many investment by crypto. They were a fact! But in other side, it would be opportunity if crypto can develop to be better in this year. I hope it gonna be better in this year, many project makes rise up economic growth of some countries, and many alt coins rise up also.
