I am thinking of investing some ETHs in ENG. What are your thoughts?

Likely a good buy, holding a good stack myself. I'm expecting this to break 1-2 bill marketcap pretty soon..

IMO I think for now I'll not invested my ETH to another  token or coin. Eth is on fire on the beginning of the year, so there is no reason to trade it for now.

And what? In December ENG per USD was to $8. And what about? We must see in the development. And Enigma team recently expanded own team by 2 new members. How his product would grow further is more important than 24 Jan price.

Binance coins are always a good buy :)

Beside this, Enigma have very stable team and I'm expecting a new ATH from then very soon or even $10.

Can someone provide a real world use case where an individual could be able to monetize their data using Enigma?

For some reasons, I can't exactly remember why, I skipped their ICO.
Now their ANN is locked and people there are compiling about tokens locked into the site.

So I continue to not like it. Price soon will be under $1.

ENG- Enigma seems has some potential to boost up as community growing faster ! it can give good advantage to make profit ! it should kept on as future investment !

ENG is good supporting team so you should invest in as soon as possible because current market is fluctuating constantly so this also fall in the market. If you invest know it makes 4x profit in this year end. Many peoples are looking to new platform but few peoples are analyse the right platform this is worthy investment.

I have heard that a lot of intelligent developers are actively involved in the development of their software. It is interesting, and the project itself seems to me very promising.             

ENG (Enigma) does have a nice repot for the future feature, with the value of the current price of $ 1.52 is already very good and rest assured it's time to invest,

Enigma is one of the project in the space with intelligent people but lack focus on the marketing side of things, the team messed up with their ICO which result in the crash of the tokens after the ICO, but later regain its price. I believe personally in the project and hope its succeed long term

Agreed, guys. All who doubts can connect to discord and make sure that team consist from very qualified people. They do their project due to roadmap. That's main. Not P/D but milestones

I think by the end of the year it will be about x5 from the current value. This project has all the makings for further growth.

Not bad words. I think also that development due to roadmap is main for good project. Regardless of market conditions. Now a few teams will be published any good news because on such market people do not see good only fud. I trust Eng that's why buy only now :)

I have read about this projects and from what I understand it is a good one and something worth having.  I think I will also get some unit of it in days to come. If sell ethereum for this tokens is what you want I think it is good idea. However cryptocurrencies investment is a very risky venture and you should not invest in any project without a professional advice.

Do not trust 'professional' advice. Make own research. I interested this project from Sept '17 and I can say that team do own work hard. And their milestones will be in time. What need for success project yet?

I would like to understand better how does Enigma's privacy work? Does it use Ring Signatures/Stealth addresses etc?

How if big whales split their ENGs to different addresses to effectively exclude normal investors out of the race of running master nodes, even though they may have to sacrifice cost-efficiency to some extent?

On Consensus team promise to make important announcement. I'm lost in conjecture what it can be. Team very active in the marketing and PR. I'm glad that hold ENG  ;) I will wait next week

Does anyone know about the announcement on how many ENG would be required for master node? And the expected earnings from running a master node? It would be great to know.

Kinda looking for that information too. Thought there will be a some sort of definitive coverage and publication of Consensus highlights. However, not much seems to have come from the gathering

Enigma is constantly receiving new conference news. Blockfolio users will see thanks to the new feature. The teams are also very prestigious and have solid academic careers. I do not think it will be speculation.

I personally don't question the quality the possess on their development team, but on their marketing team they need to do more. This is one of the problem I have with most ICO team, they think all they need to do is to develop a platform that users would come, this is very wrong and the likes of Amazon, Apple, Coca Cola understand this very well

The current price of the coin is about $ 2.07 and on some forecasts for the year its value will grow slightly more than 2 times, to $ 4.8. However, in the 5-year perspective, the price can reach $ 17. So for those who do not hurry are an excellent asset for investing for a long time!

Enigma is one of the coins that I am watching for a longer time and I also thought about an investment, but I will wait a little bit more, maybe we will see some lower prices for a better entry.

I think everybody is now waiting on, wich coin/token is real and could add something in a real solution. With ETH and ENG, you can build a real-solution. I think 99% of all the current tokens/coins will not have a real use.. So that's why I'm such a big fan and hope there will be a lot of cases, that we can offer a solution for and help the world move to blockchain.

The upcoming testnet this month and the mainnet Q3 will both be on the eng eth token. 2020 when the enigma chain is independent then there could be a swap.

An innovative platform for experienced traders who can easily make a profit from their experience. Now using the financial market has become quite easy to implement. And the gain in a fairly short time is not bad.

Is there any updates about secret nodes? Will they release open source software?

ENG secret nodes? Always curious about this actually, I heard about it and I've been reading about them once in a while when I'm bored. They have a similar concept I think to Skynet/Skycoin (I like reading decentralized web projects) but this secret nodes, if it works, would be the difference.

BTW. Enigma has been open source from the beginning. It's all on github, or what are you asking about?

Development of secret nodes goes with full speed. You can make own nodes, the team make their requirements for hardware. And all discussion makes on their forum https://forum.enigma.co/c/nodes-discovery-ama You can learn about code and current state there.
The team makes good work (with changes in the first direction). But about price prediction? I can't imagine. Will depends on the further development

Enigma is moving slowly, if there is no new about it, it don't rise much, just %3-5 sometimes but if there is any news about it, it can rise fastly so you can look to their news.

ENG has been dumped pretty hard recently, -25% in a single day.

So many projects in the market are exhibiting this attributes too lately and still don’t know the reason for their falls, when I expected them to pick up now that Bitcoin has already made the marketcap green and we are already out of the danger zone, so investors should pick interest in some of these project if they are really functioning well.

The whole thing is still in the developer’s hand and I think they are not pushing the project enough, now they have got the chance to do so, since the market is beginning to win the trust of investors back, but I am sure they are working hard in making their product work.

The main reason for the recent dump across the market is the Bitfinex news, I just hope we will have a better and strong Stable coin than Tether in coming months, this is hurting alot of people. FUD like this is not good for the marke and make people lose all the recent gains

I think that today the general negative trends in the cryptocurrency market affect the development of new promising projects.  Perhaps after some time the situation will change for the better, but today we have what we have.  Although now the future depends on the developers, because one cannot rely only on investors.

Data privacy startup Enigma is officially launching its second test network for ethereum developers.
These nodes - similar in behavior to miners on a traditional proof-of-work blockchain - are rewarded for contributing computing power to the network by receiving network tokens. In this case, "worker nodes" on Enigma (https://www.coindesk.com/enigma-launches-second-testnet-designed-for-secret-contract-development) are rewarded ENG tokens which presently possess a total market capitalization of close to $40 million.

That was a temporary fall. Enigma has been working on the development of its platform. Smart contracts that are used in ENG will gain more popularity. It uses Intel's SGX technology which is supposed to provide more privacy for these smart contracts. I guess, although the project is still enough young, it has a very good future. ENG can also gain this year reaching 1-1,5 dollars.

ENG is a decent addition to any #DeFi portfolio...

Meanwhile, there are regular 10-15% pumps that one can swing trade  :)
