Title: Electrum new vulnerability, are all versions affected? Post by: johncolbir on January 08, 2018, 02:59:31 AM I've read somewhere that not all versions of Electrum are affected, I've read that all versions before 2.6 are not affected, can anyone confirm this to be true?

I just upgraded to 3.0.5 anyway. There you have it folks. This is why you use Bitcoin Core and not shitty third party crap. Lesson learnt.

Versions < 2.6 can't sync with the network so they are unusable. @maxxdxx: It affects android versions too. 3rd party? There is no 1st party or third party in bitcoin!
