Just wondering when you guys think Bitcoin will hit $20,000 again?

At the moment crypto is on predictions and the predictions by top Crypto traders are true at the moment and as per their predictions Bitcoin will cross 30000USD in 2018 so lets see and hope that Bitcoin will continue its price and value increasing trend in 2018 too.

I think this is possible, after all, bitcoin has created a miracle. Many people now know bitcoin even if they do not understand it.

There is hope as the cost of bitcoin is going to exceed $ 20,000 in 2018 only. There can be even more on the rise.

saying bitcoin will be $30000 by the end of 2018 now, is like saying bitcoin will be $2000 by the end of 2017 at the start of 2017. it is like the lowest price that bitcoin can get to. from the current price it is only 2x rise and if you consider the ATH then it is a small 1.5x rise. this is tiny for the current situation of bitcoin in my opinion.

even if the rise slows down it will be at least $50k specially since we are going to have LN this year.

I think BTC hit $20000 in very soon may be in this month end it will cross $20000.

Weeks if given the market analysis but don't count on it. 2017 was just a scare at the end with regulations that comes to 2018 which will be regulation heavy. The difference is exchanges.

For as long as Bitcoin can't resolve the issues regarding to its transaction fees then I think it will be barely reach $20k soon but that's only my own opinion that is hindering its growth.

I can predict it  ;D maybe before january will ends bitcoin will become $18000-$20000 and if bitcoin reach that dont be scared that it will  decrease! Because if bitcoin reach again the value of $200000 we expert more that it will becone $25000-$30000 just believe in bitcoin and fight your fear and don't loss hope just be patient.

It is possible to happen. In this quarter of 2018 it will hit $20,000 easily. So it is good if we are holding some bitcoin at this very low price because bitcoin's price in the future will doubled, it is very promising coin of all.

Can’t say yes or no directly. There is a high potential for Bitcoin indeed, but 20000? Not so sure.. I am an investor too and just looking at “future possibilities” which is why I invested. I mean like how many people with expendable income are aware of Bitcoin as an investment or currency? How many does have access to internet? Just probably around 40% of the world population has an internet connection today..

I see some news on the website, they believe that only in the next few months bitcoin will penetrate up to $ 20k. Well, I just think positive and hope this will happen. Even later this year, we'll see bitcoins between $ 30k — $50.

In the middle of this year bitcoin will reach its new highest price record that will reach more than $ 30,000, so just relax bitcoin the price will always rise high. do not miss this opportunity to have as much bitcoin as you can.

It will take a while and there will need to be more hype again, but it is entirely possible to see the entire market start to pick up sooner rather than later, assuming there is enthusiasm from the community and everyone is excited to get involved again. It's probably going to take a decent period of time since we are not on a bull run and there is a need for some real hype for the market to crawl up another $4k. It's not impossible to have it within the month, but it is significantly unlikely right now.

we all know that no one can really guess when will this happen.
all we can do right now is be hopeful that it will surpass it's ATH in the future.
but as far as i can see there is a great possibility that it will happen within a 2 month period.
though there will be a slower incline right now as compared to the incline we experienced last year.

Maybe in 3 weeks or so , I am sure it will not take long to hit 20k again. Let's wait and see how it goes

Based off current events and the bitcoin community, we should see the price rises to 20K before Mid Feb this year

Cryptocurrencies are unpredictable. We can't to predict about the price. Like now, tomorrow and 1 month later, no one know what happen next. Just wait and believe that bitcoin can be hit $20,000 again. What we can do now just always work with them and hold them till the time comeback again.

Well, base on last year increase I think the increase will happen on jun or july . I think this year bitcoin will reach 100k hopefully if the bitcoin continues its increase like last year.

I do not answer with certainty, but I see BTC today is still running slow. so it will take a long time. probably mid-to-2018 BTC will again rise above $ 20,000.

Possibly in one month or 2 that it will hit $20000 again... Imaging when the bitcoin is used like visa or mastercard.

Everyone has been expecting bitcoin to see it @ $20,000 at this first quarter of the year and base on what we can see, the price is moving quite slow at the very beginning of this year and after the news that Thiel bought a lot of bitcoins then it boosted the price.

And as of now, the price went back $15,800 and moved forward at $16,000 so there's a thousand difference already after a couple of days.

If bitcoin will bounce back with the same amount, so we can see $20,000 in a couple of weeks but still bitcoin's movement is unpredictable.

Bitcoin has been circling for a long time near the $ 20,000 mark, rising to $ 17,000-18,000. Now he has a little lowered and his rate is 15 964 dollars. I am actually very optimistic about 2018. If we can see only 50% of the growth of last year, then $20 000 per bitcoin will be a bad price. You have to remember that the Bitcoin price rose from $1000 <Jan '17> to almost $20 000 at the end of 2017. That was a price increase of close to 1000% for 2017.

I will be more than happy with a price increase to $30 000 per bitcoin for 2018. ^smile^

the value of the bitcoin was 1000 dollars before 2015 it has reached almost 17000 dollars in 2017 i am sure that it will reach 20000 dollars by 2018

I am sure, Bitcoin will hit $20k, when the price goes up again. Currently it is fluctuating around $15k and this might continue a little bit longer.
In 2017 the first time the $5k milestone was hit, Bitcoin retracted to $3k levels, before it rose again and just broke through the $5k mark and beyond.
Most likely, it is just a matter of time, be patient.

Bitcoin price correction is happening it will traded between 15000$ to 17000$ stable value for next couple of days or months . Now ethereum making it original move may soon ether will hit 2000$ . So Bitcoin good to hold for long term

My thoughts probably match with most of the other posters here, I think we will see Bitcoin back at around $20,000 with in the next 2 - 3 months and I think this time it will stay above this level for the remainder of the year.

Bitcoin is the digital currency and i think the price will touch the $20k figure in the next two months the users are demanding bitcoin very high but some of them are shifting to the Ethereum as well and the preferences are changed people is now looking to the altcoins. the bitcoin have recorded history and the inspirational prices as well.

In my opinion maybe around February. I don't think it will take long unless there are major issues on bitcoin. Although we really do have major issue like high transaction fee, but i think we can still reach that amount very soon.

Bitcoin hit that mark $20,000 last December 19th of 2017 before the mega bloodbath and then continued to descend up to $13,000 as the lowest in December but Bitcoin's price is ascending back to the moon this week and will probably still hit before the least day of this month January.

february I think it will be the bitcoin peak point of $ 20,000 and that is bound to happen because bitcoin is currently going through a good rise. we can start investing now so that later in february month can get big profit.

Answering this question is quite hard. We all remember how Bitcoin reached $20,000 unexpectedly last month. Everybody thought that reaching $18,000 was already remarkable but when it reached $20,000, Bitcoin continued to exceed everyone's expectation. If the rates continue being good without any disruptions, it looks like we will reach $20,000 pretty soon. Hopefully all goes well. We all know how unpredictable Botcoin can be and sometimes there are no reasons for its movement. We just have to continue believing and soon enough it will come through.

I think bitcoin prices will stay in the $15-17k by the end of the month as this is the period where bitcoin do not perform very good, bitcoin runs will happen next month (February) as many asian countries especially China will celebrate the Chinese New Year, this holiday will boost spending similar to what happened during Christmas season, With this, I believe that Bitcoin price will reach $20,000 by the end of February 2018.

If btc will reach that price many bitcoin bolder and investors will be merry.
But this would result to bad impact to the trade od btc. If the price will nearly to 20K dollar many will dispose their btc that will result to massive sell out. Price will oblige to go down then. Supply and demand should  be maintain to have a stable price in the market.

It can happen in Feb or somewhere near that only because the start to the new year has being good till now. You can see the btc prices have rose and trading at 16k$ around and seems to be getting stable at this levels and may find the upward rise soon with some boost from the good news.

Bitcoin will be very difficult to touch $ 100k, maybe in this year, Bitcoin will touch $ 50k. If $ 100k I think it is impossible

My bet is that BTC will hit $20.000 in March/April, not earlier. The rise the last months was too sharply and even a correction could set in. But end of 2018 BTC should be something around $50.000. But this only my humble opinion.  ;D

At the moment bitcoin price at https://coinmarketcap.com/ is in the range of $16000. To reach out the price $20000 it's very possible to be achieved by bitcoin. Considering at the end of 2017 we know bitcoin prices are in the range of $12000, and it only takes a few days price back up to $16000. Yeah, I just see bitcoin price from time by time to guess bitcoin prices go up to $20000.

I think it's yes base on how bitcoin increase last year 2017. And as you see bitcoin prize are keep increasing in a short period of time . It's not difficult to bitcoin to reach 30,000 USD in 2018 I think it will need only 3 months to reach it because the increasing of prize are very fast.  And it's possible to bitcoin to reach a hundred thousand USD this year because of lots of investor that invest in it .

It nearly hit last part of the year but the xmas vacation and holiday prevented traders from holding bitcoins. But for now , it will take up to march to hit $20,000 to 30,000 mark.If demand become more aggressive ,then by next month, we can see the price at 20,000.

Yes it will, as as it slowly getting its ground to come back to $20k. Maybe not now but it will surely be back to the highest. So as investors better invest now to be able to ride the uprising of bitcoin again. Although it cannot be predicted due to its volatily but as bitcoins reliability on all cryptocurrency trading it is always wise to invest on this coin. We'll surely be back to $20k before 2018 ends.

I think bitcoin hit in 20,000$ is this january. Because i feel that there are more coming that got interested in the bitcoin and they invest.in the last friday. I see in the news on T.V that the bitcoin is still spreading and the user was still rising up. So if there more people acknowledged it i think more people want this because of its good benefits

I think it is going to take some time actually probably around March or April and prior to that I think it will consolidate for the time being.

Within this month I think,, but as of now as the altcoin investment is increasing because of many good projects.. After the pump and when dumping started most of those investors and they’re profits will go directly to bitcoin in two ways.. Bitcoin investments and holding or on trading.. So the right thing to do is chillax and be patience.. Waiting will soon over and profits will soon be tasted..

I think bitcoin will hit easily 20thousand this year. And im sure we dont have to wait to long that this happens. Many new investors this year, so within the next three months it should be done.

It's hard to answer this question but i think it is would be higher in next few months. It's expected big volatility  in the first part of this year .

I do not think Bitcoin can reach $ 20,000 in a short time. It will continue to hit $ 20,000 again but it may take a few months to do this, when the Bitcoin value can not reach $ 19,000.

There's no way we can figure it out it all depends on the demand of the bitcoin but as of now i think it will just reach $18,000 or lower because the market will just more likely return to normal and i do believe that the bitcoin price will reach $20,000 but no one is sure when its gonna happen but one thing is sure that the bitcoin price will start to goes up.

I've been in the crypto industry for at least 8 months and i've seen the bitcoins price crash or dumps but one thing is for sure it will surely goes up and recover it's lost.

I think more people will going to invest in bitcoin because of the news when it's reach it's peak this past month and the news really spread so fast and that would help the value of the bitcoin to increase its value we just need to keep calm and have patience.

This will gonna happen in a few months pumping to $20k and more.

yeah actually almost bitcoin hit 20,000usd price value in the market price in last month of 2017 but all of the sudden in the middle of december bitcoin crashing the price, hoping before the end of 1st quater of this year bitcoin goes uprising the value in the marketcap and reach 20k usd.

so many bitcoiners will trade their money and start to withdraw im pretty sure so many bitcoiners will trade or buy bitcoins and they will shopping for sure because the bitcoin is getting higher again

As much as we really wanted to see bitcoin hitting $20K, there's no way for certain when we are going to touch it. Remember almost everyone predicts that $20K was going to be surpass at the end of 2017. Because bitcoin has made a dramatic rally and even getting above $19K, however, we experience a sudden slump, and dip as low as $12K-$13K.

But knowing bitcoin, it has the ability to recover and in the last couple of days we see it surpassing $17K and thought that we are going near the elusive $20K again. Sadly, it dip a little, maybe a correction or sort and consolidating and move forward again and try to test $18K-$$20K.

Pretty sure though that sooner or later we are going to touch it. I have a feeling that it can surpass it this quarter or even goes further the $20K mark.

It will I think. But it won't be $30k as someone said above. It will be fluctuating between $15k and $25k in my opinion. Bitcoin is losing its leadership due to loss of interest and development of altcoins that are better in all ways except the price.

20,000 usd is almost hit of bitcoin the last month of year 2017
20,000 to 30,000 usd if you asking me on that price reach of Bitcoin in this year 2018 enough for me but no one can control how much the price increases reach of bitcoin.

Probably this first quarter of the year it will start to bull again,bitcoin is starting to show some bull indicators if you ask a technical analyst.
