Would have ignored this post but i actually do also agree that siacoin is looking good this 2018. It was way oversold for so long now and i'm glad its value is back up. Last i heard of siacoin was regarding the Obelisk siacoin ASIC but when you take some time to look at the developer's blog you'll see that they are actually very active.

Siacoin is a confusing investment for me. I bought a good number of them a long time back and I have been HODLING them since then. Did not sell a single coin no matter how high the price rose or how low the price fell. The primary reason why I did this is because I felt that it had a great community backing it and the developers seemed to update it now and then.

Seeing the current price, I am not having high expectations for this coin since its value seems to rise very slowly and I am thinking about selling my coins now and investing into other coins which could return x100 profits in the long term.

It's not an exchange it's a forum but maybe one day someone will buy it off me and turn it into an exchange. Anyway, I truly think 2018/2019 will be a great year for Siacoin!

I believe siacoin will do well short and long term but I also believe that filecoin seems to be the superior competitor in this game because of their use of IPFS

I'm not yet invested in either coin but I've been following both and Filecoin hasn't been released publicly yet since they finished the ICO. It's unclear if the Filecoin being sold on the Gate.io and LBank exchanges is genuine or not as Filecoin recently tweeted that anyone claiming to be selling their coin at this time is most likely fraudulent. I believe that being first out of the gate for a particular idea gives you a certain advantage for sure but time will tell what will happen once some of these ideas mature and they can be compared directly. STORJ looks nice too. Lots of options for storage coins.

Highly speculative. It dropped 13.87% today. But so did bitcoin and other altcoins a little bit. So the future looks uncertain. But then again since its the crypto world, it's always in flux. Hope it goes up again. 2018 and 2019 maybe the year of ripple or ethereum. Siacoin still has a long way to go before it attains a good value.

This coin is quite simple and good investment in the crypto market. But this coin is not familiar in the market. So I am not trusted in this coin, because in market many cryptocurrency are available and many competitors also increasing day by day in the market. Siacoin is not easy to predict the future benefits. But every cryptocurrency have some potential so it will not fail in market.

Recently I've sold all my Sia coins when the price was about 300 sat, next day the price grew up to 630 sat LOL

Siacoin is one of the most interesting projects available in the market right now.This was the first project based upon the idea of decentralised cloud storage.The team of the project is also very strong which is another factor which can lead to fast growth in future.You can easily expect the price of siacoin to be around $1 within two to three years.Other projects based upon the same idea is Storj but siacoin is way more popular and more stable than Storj.It is a coin worth investing.

Got in at 66 in december, then sold at 220... Jumped back in at 190 so looking good :) rumours of something with netflix and dropbox in the future so if anything like that comes off even the 500's where it's at now will be cheap imo. Fingers crossed :)

I think it's too late to enter this coin. She's grown enough and you can not do a lot of X-files on her. I think that it is necessary to look for younger and coin-like coins.
