Title: Going after Ian Grice
Post by: 00null on August 10, 2013, 12:51:01 AM
Now that the SEC is charging Trendon Shavers/pirateat40, we should try the somehow trigger the same for Ian Grice.

Ian Grice/payb.tc/E&G/Not@Las/chowyunfat/Tackleberry/Hightower did run the biggest pirate pass-trough (150000-200000BTC). After BTCST imploded, Ian decided to side with pirate. He quickly destroyed all evidence to shield pirate from his victims. He could have helped the victims to go after pirate but Ian decided to protect pirate -most probably because he made a ton of Bitcoins in this scam.

According to his public information (86 Monash Rd; 4000 Brisbane; Australia; Phone: +61.414235463) he is Australian.
Is there some Australian version of the SEC that could go after Ian? What can we do? Any suggestions?

There are some other large pirate passthrough operators worth mentioning— including some which, according to popular rumor, were almost certainly short pirate in anticipation of his eventual downfall.
