Hey guys,

last days i  got invited to a discord group with 144.000 users. They "pump" coins i havnt even heard about it before. Well i did some research and tryed it one time. I had 14% profit on 1 trade, was it just luck?
does anyone of you guys do "pumps"? Thanks for your info

Pumps are just hyping a coin/pumping money into it to get the price up. Usually, with a pump come a dump which in turn then drops the price. I don't know what kind of group that is but be careful. There are a lot of scams. If you don't get out at the right time you are left with a coin that does don't go up and you will lose the value.

I would not advise you to go for a pump and dump unless you really understand the gyst behind and you are an expert. That said, most pumpers and dumpers use trading hence they will be quick to dump just on time as opposed to manual trading

Since there are 100k+ users then this is risky, because how I think this scheme works is that there are a small group of people that are leading this, what do they do is buy a coin, then post the message that it is a good coin to invest, so the price gets pumped, then they sell at this price by getting a high profit, then they start dumping the price and the last people who "joined lately" this train will get damaged by buying this overpriced coin.

Bunch of people buy same coin at same time, offcourse the coin will increase in price. but when you late, youll lose. That kind of group is actualy awesome in my point of view

I think you're full of shit.  I think you're a scammer. 

People who create accounts here to ask "questions" like this one aren't being honest--they're just trying to suck in the suckers.   And then the only thong you'll read are 3rd world shitposts that all sound the same and usually don't even make any sense.  So get lost with your scammy pump and dump group.

Just like anything else, there are good groups and shady groups.
It is possible to profit from both kinds, but I prefer those of the slightly more ethical variety.
These types aim to help the entire group, instead of using a percentage of the group to benefit those at the top.

These can be risky so just don't overextend yourself but there is a lot of upside!

Get away from pump groups. You won't make a fortune from them, but you waste your time. It would be much better if you study real trading.

I mean everybody is here to make money but I hate to see things like this because it can affect someone not in the group that is just trying to make an honest investment and learn.
