Title: Claiming BCH from Electrum Multisig
Post by: Ali Mente on January 08, 2018, 10:17:32 PM
Hi,

I was using a 2-of-2 Electrum multisig wallet for the last couple of month and now want to claim my BCH using Electron Cash. I have both seeds, both public master keys and all adresses where BTC were stored. What's the best approach for this? Does Electron Cash support Multisig as of yet?

Thank you

I think you just need to get the private key of your bitcoin address your bitcoin save during fork..
You can follow this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2411075.msg24665962#msg24665962
After you get the private keys you can import it in electron cash..

You will need to download the version 2.9.3 temporary as it kinda "supported" 2FA.

Just follow this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/6wf50x/recovering_your_bitcoin_cash_from_a_trustedcoin/

You do realize that its a 2-of-2 multi signature wallet and not a third party 2fa wallet right? (i own both wallets) is the procedure the same? Thanks

Then just download the same version (2.9.3), select Multi-signature wallet -> 2-of-2 -> I already have a seed -> Paste the first seed -> Enter cosigner seed -> Paste the second seed.

Thank you, I will try this. I can't just copy and open the two Electrum wallet.dats in Electron Cash right?

This method worked perfectly, thank you very much!
