Title: PDUs and C13-C14 Cables
Post by: miningallday on January 09, 2018, 01:44:03 AM
Hello, what PDUs do you recommend and do you use 14awg c13-c14 cables or what? I have about 100 amps available on 240v single phase.

I have some S9, L3+, D3 and A4+ i am plugging in.

I recommend getting some used PDUs on ebay, i do use c13-c14 also c19/20 sometimes. Personally i go for switched PDU but you can get some really cheap stuff if you dont want any bells and whistles. Check for the APC 7XXX/8XXX i guess? But i figure anything not from some never heard of manufacturer may do.

I tend to look for the enterprise grade stuff - HP, TrippLite, APC, etc.

Any of those will work, and you tend to get good prices because companies are liquidating old hardware.

APC AP7911

These are switched which allow you to remotely power off/on each individual outlet. if you look hard enough can pick up really cheap
