Title: Bitcoin vs. Bitcoin cash
Post by: sann111 on January 09, 2018, 05:16:37 AM
What is better to buy, 1 bitcoin or 4 bitcoin cash? Does bitcoin cash has the potential to reach the level of bitcoin?

I do think that it soley depends on the investors right now I would suggest you to buy 1 Bitcoin instead of 4 Bitcoin cash.

Since , now the market is down there is huge potential to buy bitcoins at low price and the profit will also be great because near around March you can expect it to rise high.

If we do a little research , we will be able to gauge one thing that is everyone is putting faith in bitcoins to rise near March. Because all the experts have suggested it.

Right now ripple and cash are going down too.. thus I think investing in bitcoins will be better.

son of BTC will not be able to defeat his father.
Bitcoin will continue to soar, although the presentation is not as much as altcoin
BTC : Longterm
BCH : IDK

Bitcoin is the largest and most valuable crypto in the world. It begins its journey with the promise of offering fast and inexpensive payment methods.

Bitcoin Cash is trash, remember that. It is a "flash in the pan" coin, that would go away, after Roger Ver and his followers start to hype something else. A lot of early adopters received free coins after the fork and that is the reason why it is being hyped. <to increase the value, for them to sell it for a higher profit>

Bitcoin <BTC> is here to stay and it will be "upgraded" soon with the Lightning Network, which will make it faster and cheaper than BCash, rendering BCash obsolete.

If you're thinking what to buy i can tell you pick 1 bitcoin over 4 bitcoincash although bitcoincash is strong lately and has a potential nothing in crypto can beat the first crypto ever which is bitcoin. Bitcoin is basically the safest bet but a huge profit when you hold it for as long as you can so i can suggest stock many bitcoins as possible than bitcoincash.

I prefer bitcoin, because bitcoin has a good plan ahead. while BCH is just a fraction of BTC that has no plans. so I think someday BCH can go down drastically.

Bitcoin cash is trash save yourself the hassle of buying instead opt with the bitcoin or even better probably the altcoin method. Both are probably better for you in the long term given those coins won't be subject to the centralization that is currently present in the Bitcoin cash operation.

If you are in for the long run, definitely go for Bitcoin, as this is the reference for all other crypto currencies. If you want to trade for a short term period, Bitcoin Cash might be an option, but it's a very volatile currency and there were many overtake attempts by the Bitcoin Cash community, which did not really succeed so far.
Overall, go for Bitcoin. It's the one original crypto currency.

I prefer the bitcoin cash to keep the assets I own for the long term, because bitcoin cash prices are still cheap and not as expensive as bitcoin, bitcoin could potentially be priced the same as bitcoin in the future.

The future of bitcoin cash is also good in the present time. for long term the bitcoin is good to hold if you urgent need of money then come to the bitcoin cash it will facilitate you for this.

I think I'll give my opinion in terms of price alone. In my opinion, their prices are very good and the development is also very good. If you want to invest, you can try both, but if you want the most certain, of course you should choose Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash's price is still low, but now the increase is very high up to many times. If you compare in terms of price, then I can say that the development price of Bitcoin Cash just the same as other Altcoin. However, I will still choose Bitcoin as a major investment because Bitcoin is the originator of everything in the world of cryptocurrency.

my 1 BTC? If the price goes back to $15000 then rises to $17000. Will I make $2000 profit the second time?

Bitcoin cash now has a very positive price increase. But I would still choose Bitcoin as a top choice for investing. I know that Bitcoin will always give a good thing for my life, I invest in Bitcoin and I get profit. That is my main goal to make an investment, I get a stable income and I think the inconvenience in investing is owned by Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the first crypto currency in the crypto market whereas bitcoin cash is a hard fork of bitcoin on August 2017 created by the miners of bitcoins to increase the extension of bitcoins network. Bitcoin is created under the pseudonym satoshi Nakamoto. The transaction speed of bitcoin cash is much faster than bitcoins. Bitcoin cash has a size of 8 MB whereas bitcoins are limited to 1MB size which is  only 21 million bitcoins are available in the crypto market.

If they stopped claiming Bitcoin Cash as the "true Bitcoin", then they are fine by me.

I don't think so. In my opinion no coins could level the price of BTC right now. BCH is just any other altcoin it was created to lessen the traffic in BTC but now serves just like any other coins in the market.

Of course i choose bitcoin no doubt, bitcoin has a promising income to all of investors, as we can see that bitcoin already build a strong trust to all people and it continuous giving us a chance to earn money. Altcoin is just an alternative way to earn income we used them to do trading because we are looking for more profit every time we do multiple methods here in crypto currency.

No. If you have 1 BTC at 15000 and the price goes to 20,000. You have to sell the whole BTC to get your 5000 extra plus your original investment of 15,000. . Then if  the price drops to 15,000 again and you buy back in with all 20,000. Now you get more than 1 BTC.  If you only sell 5,000 worth of BTC when the price is at 20,000. You will have 5,000 and .750 BTC in your account.

At least you now know because bitcoincash is just another fork or split of bitcoin. Aside from that bitcoincash, their are other spit like the bitcoing gold which is in terms of dollar price only, it is one one of the few coins who reached the 300$+ price in the market.

Bitcoin cash dont have good developers, and if if bitcoin core try doing something (adding lightning network), then bch want to increase block size to 4 8 16mb while it can give result. By this reason i think cash have limited future

They might not have good devs but the numbers of BCH miners is increasing. It cant achieve that kind of price of the BCH community is not that active. BCH has better blocks as they say but is does not limit then to at achieve higher values.

I don't think so. I would prefer to buy 1 Bitcoin. That is the better choice. Bitcoin has been always better than Bitcoin Cash. But if you have enough resources to invest in crypto, then the best way is to diversify your portfolio and in your diversification you may include Bitcoin Cash in your list. But if you ask me which is better, I would really say it is Bitcoin. And if you ask me to only choose one, I know you know what my answer would be.

there is no news. he is just a "throwaway account" spamming about bitcoin cash because he is bag holding some of it.

here is the thing, as long as bitcoin fees are staying up and it is losing its merchant adoption due to high fees, altcoins like bitcoin cash and a lot of others will get pumped. it won't take a year, it will happen a lot sooner than that because bitcoin fees are high right now and bitcoin will either die in the future or fix this issue. and if bitcoin dies it will definitely not be bitcoin cash that replaces it because it also has the same issue.

I would start with bitcoin for several reasons.

1) Bitcoin has established it's place in the market (digital gold)

2) Bitcoin is the most commonly used trading pair to purchase other crypto assets (if you decide to trade)

3) The first crypto ETF will be Bitcoin NOT Bcash - when this happens I would think BTC will skyrocket.

Bcash has not established it's place in the market yet.  Maybe it wants to be the "usable currency" but that title is still up for grabs with litecoin, dash, or who knows.

Disclaimer: I own both BTC and BCH.  So my advise would be to buy both, but if you have to choose for some reason...You should go with Bitcoin.

BTC to do the most important digital currency assets, a huge appreciation of space. Grasp the opportunity, but pay attention to the risk!

Too much noise around this fork. In my opinion, it does not have any purpose and is not unique in any way, as in principle and other forks. Personally for me, BCH is attractive only for commissions and I keep no more than 10% of the total portfolio.

For me 1BTC is lot better than 4 BCH.The bitcoin cash was just a free money which are separated from bitcoin on hard forks, I personally think hardforks coins have no use in future. So people who are holding bitcoin cash sell them immediately to make money because the price may fall soon.

I moved to Bitcoin Cash because it's doing what Bitcoin should have done, it's the Cryptocurrency that Bitcoin should have been and did start out as, it's taking it back to the core purpose of why early adopters got on board and fell in love with Bitcoin and made it a success in the first place.

The point of this post really is to ask people to think about this logically, I'm not bashing on Bitcoin for no reason and I'm not trying to convert people. Honestly, I was kind of against Bitcoin Cash at first just because I don't like change and would have liked Bitcoin to make the scaling changes it needed to survive itself, I switched because it was the only logical, sensible thing to do.

I do not like copies and BCH is a BTC copy. The bitcoin code has been copied, but its infrastructure is not. Bitcoin has years of development behind it, a thriving community and growing social capital of trust. Bitcoin Cash has not only this, but also liquidity (problem for exchanges) and miners themselves (problem for users).

BCH is neither better in value storage nor in quick transactions. In the latter, Litecoin works better with its blocks confirmed every 150 seconds.

Comparing this is pointless, it is not logical if only because of the high fees transaction and long confirmation problem making Bitcoin Cash will replace Bitcoin. This is a misleading comparison, pick an example we searching some stores that accept Bitcoin payments, of course we can easily find it,  KFC Canada, Helen's Pizza, Newegg online stores are accept this and still many more. But try to find store that accept Bitcoin Cash as payment option, we will getting hard finding it. This is the fact.
