Title: Cash Out !
Post by: Dhaaaw on January 09, 2018, 10:53:03 AM
I would love to know how each and everyone of the ones that don't HODL do to turn their bitcoins into cash.
I used to deposit in nettler but lately the 3rd party program that is bitpay is posing alot of problems with its new preocedure, only allowing a few wallets not including mine which is blockchain.
Please share your method here.

turning bitcoin into cash (in other words selling) doesn't mean you are not HODLing bitcoin! you can sell and still be a hodler. that is of course if you have anything more than $10 worth of bitcoin for instance.
you can always sell something to satisfy your need or reduce the risk or something like that.

either an exchange or localbitcoins.com or any other place like that which you can find someone close to you and sell "locally" so to speak.

It varies based on the country you are, but you can use P2P exchanges like the guy above me mentioned to you. I make use of localbitcoins and remitano for P2P exchanges, although remitano is not available for all countries, but for mine, it is just on point. Also, you can find out if LUNO is available in your country as well, as I usually prefer this method a lot in exchanging to fiat, since it is direct from the exchange.

Because I am in China, I only need to change the money to USDT, and then I can exchange it easily through Chinese exchanges.

Well you know I do have an offline wallet in my mobile and dude it's super secure.

What I do is when I think I have enough bitcoins I just go and sell them , on that wallet only.

And after selling I do transfer them in my bank account since it's linked to it .

It take less than 0.1 dollar... And is pretty convenient.

Belgian here and I usually do the same if I'm pressed for time, their service is excellent and the money is on my bankaccount the same day, because I have the same bank as them.
If I have enough time, I usually go with Kraken because their fees are way lower.

Bitonic does charge a lot of fees and they've also raised their minimum withdraw quite a bit, was at 500 euros at one point in time even, now it's 'just' at 100 euros.

Bitonic is indeed a good service, better than litebit imo.

Since you guys are NL/BE. This option might be interesting for you: trade your BTC for Guldencoin on Bittrex and then send it to Nocks to trade it directly for euro's. You should definitely check it out. I have cashed/entered crypto's like this many times and the money is within a couple of hours on your bank account.

Why don't you use localbitcoins.com? It is the most efficient way to cash out without any hurdles or problems and supported maximum number of countries across the world, you just need to select the trusted trader from the community to make a trade or deal and that's it.
Place your own order or start with one of the existing orders, choice is yours. I have been using it since a long time and i didn't any problem till now.

Here in our country, the most popular exchange that we are using if we want to cash out bitcoins is coins.ph. We deposit our BTC here and then convert it into PHP and then its good to cash out after converting.

The best way to cashout your bicoins is through localbitcoin.com because it is available in almost all the countries so you can convest directly into your local currency.Or you can sell them in coinbase exchange if your country supports that offer but coinbase selling offer is only available in 32 countries.
But storing your bitcoins in a third party online storage is not secure so you have to store your bitcoins if your wallets has private keys.Blockchain.info wallet is safer when compared to coinbase wallet but still it can be hacked so if possible move to an hardware wallet.

The little I have used to buy stuff was either spending directly, or loading up a BTC debit card. The debit card option is dead for now and I should stop spending it on silly things anyway so it's hoarding for me.

Other than that the only quick and reliable way if you're in the UK is P2P like Localbitcoins but if you do too much of it your bank has a wobbly.

Cash out if theres important needed to buy for our daily lifes but try to hold for your remaining bitcoin because everyday it will be pump it's price at same time low it's value. It is nice to cash out if your profit was largely increase but if not try to hold it until the value of bitcoin will makely doubled.

Do they accept customers who are neither Dutch or Belgician? Since fees are higher than others like Kraken, which are their competitive advantages?
