What are you struggling with? What are the painpoints or what makes you fail at making money with cryptocurrencies?  ???

One of my most struggled is its price, because of its price falling and rising. Maybe I'm missing out on studying those altcoins. Because I always struggled with trading because I could not stop my emotions from selling. Hopefully I will learn it and hopefully I will also have the chance to earn a lot of money in trading.

If you are newbie who doesnt have enough money for trading you will struggle a lot thats why you need to start in bounty hunting for the free money.

'seems very amazing project for the future , maybe I can join as a team if you need , I can do as Indonesian translator especially the white paper or maybe as bounty manager.

Only thing that I struggle with is patience

patience is also what gets me.

The most I struggle is to choose a good project. Nowadays number of ICOs has been maximized and it is getting difficult every day to pick a good one from that crowd of projects. Second most difficult thing is to make technical analysis on the graph.

Living with decisions in trading, when decision is made there should be no emotions because it only makes things bad.
I have learned that there will be different  bad decisions - you can sell to early or be too late.
Sometimes limit sells gives you bad emotions because you miss out on bigger gains and sometimes no setting limit sell gets you because you can miss out on any profits.

I suppose the biggest struggle is to learn from  mistakes and not take them emotionally.

It is also difficult to follow all the altcoins when having a large portfolio of coins. Takes time to do the research and buy / sell at the right time.

Poverty is the first and foremost.
Damn. I cannot even stress how hard it is when you do not have enough resources to work and earn crypto currencies. Let alone invest in them. Second is that i am a student and have to do crypto hunting together with working part time at night, and going to school at day. Amd force myself to have free time for sudying and hunting crypto.

Although it is as hard as fck and i barely get even 4-6hrs of sleep every day, i still ain't close to giving up. Heck, don't even think that time will come. I am toouch motivated and dedicated to give up.

I am struggling with the volatility most especially  when in times I need the money and the price keeps on falling. Most of the time wrong timing, wrong decission or let us just say the struggle of emotion makes me regret in the coming days, months and years. Just like what had happened to me these past few days I am holding small amount of Bitcoin on my wallet for me to buy a new mobile phone but the price of Bitcoin goes down so I need to wait again for a bounce back because my funds for now is not enough.

Having enough ETH in my MEW is my number one struggle.  Gas or gwei is needed whenever I deposit, transfer or withdraw tokens from my MEW.  It is quite a joy to see that I have a free airdrop tokens with a high price value but later become desperate when I found out that I need a bigger amount of gas to trade those tokens.  Sometimes, I made a mistake of pushing a transaction and was a failure because my ETH is not enough to process it.  This mistake has eaten my ETH in my MEW.  Being a beginner trader is truly painful whenever you see that you lost your precious ETH because of GAS.

Always attracted to gambling sites everytime i received my salary (bitcon&altcoins) from signature campaign and bounties. If i'm not go to gambling, i will have much coins right now and i can use it for trading and make more money with cryptocurrency.

Just one thing, can't disciplines with my own strategy. Sometimes ( maybe a lot ) I change the rules in the middle of road and loss is what I get. Actually, I know what will happen if I did it, but I don't know why just happen and happen again. Some people say I don't won't to win but that's not true at all. I really want make profit with cryptocurrencies but is really hard. Until now still try and keep practice. I hope will solve soon. Thank you for your post.

I encountered this too, and indeed it gives me headache after. Also, I am struglling with managing time to spend here in  bitcointalk. Here in crypto, focus and attention is really important especially if you are on trading.

The most frustrating part in crypto is in trading, when you think you sold your tokens or invested in them in the right moment but a sudden increase or decrease in price messes everything up and you end up regretting everything you did, that is the saddest and most frustrating moment and I think you really will struggle with that.

I feel your pain,mate and i like how your mind works... You're failing,but at the same time you're refusing to give up.
This way of thinking will bring you abundance of everything you need in your life,if you're willing to work and invest time in it. Never give up! :)

Taxes is what I struggle with.

It's not enough that my government is taking a good chunk of my pay, they want to take a good chunk of my extra pay as well.

And to finance what? 1 litre of petrol here is €1.5 ($1.8 ). Stupid Sweden.

My number one struggle in making money with cryptocurrencies is the increasing transaction fees that service providers add when sending coins to other wallets. With the rise of transaction fees in order for you to profit on the coins you have is you have to atleast set aside 20% more of the profit goal you are expecting to cover all transaction fees until it becomes real money. Another struggle is the highly volatility in nature of these coins will be a struggle for some since you have to watch the market 24/7 if your coin is taking a dip or increasing in value. It is also a struggle on which coin to invest your money in since there are a lot of new coins emerging each single day without you knowing which is the best coin to invest your money into.

When you enter in this world you must be patience in order to earn money, so the struggle there  is you must be patience.

Making money on crypto-currencies is not a bad way to make money in our time. I think that the most common difficulties people face when working with crypto-currencies is the lack of funds to start investing, as well as the lack of patience.

Around 60% people have the same problem. No patience!

Too many promising projects and market has very short attention span, very promising projects that you see now might become obsolete in months.

The most difficult thing is the stress to have to decide IF and WHEN to sell a coin which has gone parabolic and IF and WHEN to perhaps cash out to FIAT. Very stressful.

What i stand for right now?..., is to find the cheapest and best coins at https://coinmarketcap.com/ which cost below $ 1 and would be able to take me to x50.
But there's doubt in my mind with the coins of my choice. Is altcoin under $ 1 able to survive such as Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Dash or Monero ?....

I think my best struggle in cryptocurrencies are to which ICO's will become good ico's and will not run away with its scammy tactics.And also high rate of transaction fees.

I agree,there's loads of ICO's to choose from,and without any previous experience it can be quite confusing to choose the right one.

better to research first those ICO's before placing your money and invest, I'm not sure why do you need to have an eye with project that don't
have any good plans, it's the usage of the project that we need to look forward before dealing with ico's as time will passed and those plan will
be achieved for sure the next will price increase that follows.

I think the biggest struggle is trying to keep up with all the news surrounding the different coins. Some coins start falling for some reason and I don't know why, I have to go on twitter to figure out what's happening. I have no problem with patience, so I know that the falling prices will eventually stabilize, but it frustrates me very much that it's impossible to keep up with everything happening in the crypto scene.

Several things 1) volatility, 2) scams and 3) taxes

1. The out of control volatility of crypto even for established projects, sometimes your coin goes down 50% right after you buy it, before you are able to make a profit in the long run.
2. There are an overwhelming number of scams in crypto, if you are an active investor in small coins its almost inevitable that you will fall into one, it takes experience to separate the legitimate projects from the scams.
3. The other complication is taxes which are onerous for US residents.

the work with the customs as moderating use of release with the developers reference on regulation with the company, to gives as might to work on following decision to appeals with execution of order with the trading plan.

i am from india and india right now is in developing stage of cryptocurriencies  so we have no law or regulation body who govern it and due to that government charges 30 percent of income when i withdraw from bank...and also other unnecessary transaction fees...withdrawing money in real world is a struggle for me....hope my government comes up with some solution soon
 

Our daily needs sometimes I need to sell my long time holding coin in order to buy a food, pay bills and other goods that we need... Even though I dont what to sell this coin... I hope one day before I sell my coins its enough price just not to regret...

OP in gambling and in trading also because i lose some money from when i'm newbie,I think we need always to try anything here to learn about that but we need to lose also some money for doing that actually i also experience losing in mining in telegram because i also do invest there so that's a lot of struggle for making money here,Moreover it can still give so much conveniece in any users even we have some problem here and i think the volatile price of it have good and bad for making money also.

I prefer to trade because it can provide huge benefits but I do not recommend it for beginners because trading requires patience and skill.

Of course the number one struggle is the feeling of regret when you're selling too early.Imagining the profit that you would make if you sell it later in time.But before long you will get used to it and overcome that feeling,now we encounter the second struggle which is the way to earn aside from trading,many of us try to join some bounty campaign and either end up in useless coin or the project turned to be scam.

less money holdings, i came into this with a financial problem after a month of joining this forum and having the signature campaign,
well i have money before that good for a month but it took me 3 months to have money with this and as we know low member rank are not good to have great salary. i sell my tokens at low price and didnt wait for the market to hit on top now all my tokens are gone and it is now 10-50x higher than before.

It's a bit of a misleading question because it implies losing money and I feel that most will be making money in cryptocurrencies, so I'll answer more as to how I don't make as much as I feel I could. The biggest difficulty I have in that is in always trying to do one more trade even when I can sense the market is starting to move away from where I want it to be. It often leaves me having to wait for things to recover longer than I'd like to.

Speaking of bounties, is there a website you use to look them up / how do you decide between the good ones and if it's worth doing? Thanks!

Just like everyone else and even a newbie like me, the first pain would be the crazy price fluctuations of the coins. It can make any newbie lose money instantly

One of my struggles in cryptoccurency is that its price is very volatile and keeps on changing by the minute. It is very difficult for me as a trader to take track of its progress unless your watching it and paying a lot of attention. That is why when I am trading in the market, I make sure that I am watching the chart and the movements in the market but at the same time, I can't do anything else, not even a bounty because doing so, I will not be able to tell whether there is a change in price and whether I should make a call or not. But the fluctuations of its price is also advantageous at the same time.

Always not having enough money or just time. I tend to pick right coins at least 3/5 times but money I put into is too low comparing to many other people. It kills the mood. Also cryptomarkets are awake 7/24 it is hard to follow.

Maybe you need to start looking for ways to get more money?  :)

My number one struggle in making money with cryptocurrency is managing my time because i need to hunt good ICOs and bounty campaigns and at the same time trading. Addendum to above mentioned is the monitoring of the price chart if its the right time to sell. And adding the struggle is the feeling of doubt and tension during trading.

There is a problem with investing in altcoin, which is that it is a good time not to know when to sell tokens, and many times I hesitate.

I want to invest in many coins, but I don't have enough maneuvering power (read money).
And sometimes I feel that I don't have enough time to read about everything that is coming out everyday.

You guys have a high living standard in Sweden,high salaries and stuff. We have half of your salaries in Estonia and petrol costs 1.3€ per liter  ;D

For me the most struggling thing was to learn to just hodl. There were several occasions where i sold in panic - just weakhands, or sold before the coin made 1-2-3-4-5 elliot wave move. The recent bad decision was when i sold hedge token. Got in at 0.8 usd, got out at 1.6 usd, and then the token vent to almost 16usd. lesson learned. #hodlmodeon

One of the struggle is that I don't have a lot of time to do things in crypto, I have a job so the amount of time that can be use for crypto is limited, after job and sometime during working. Because of that it's not rare to miss a good entry point to trade, I earn a lot but I could've earn more if I have more time to spare.

The number one problem that I have is to not do anything. Yes, you heard that right. There are times when there is nothing to be done in the market, no buying opportunities or selling opportunities exist. I think that time is now. So not doing anything is something that kind of frustrates me, to sit back and wait.

I've been struggling with that aswell! Im seeing the opportunities everywhere,but i don't take action on some of them... But i guess we learn from our past mistakes :P

There's always opportunities available,you just need to spot em :)

Analysing the markets about the price when to cash in and cash out

The only struggle on earning money through Cryptocurrency is when I was trying to educate myself believing that I would become a millionaire someday after I sell off my coins and tokens that I receive after bounty campaigns but that was the first day I registered my first account here in Bitcointalk and I wasn't able to join any bounty campaigns that would be my first campaign.
A real struggle that keep on posting comments for almost half a year because the coins and tokens that I received are shit coins and had no value even until today so that's the real struggle.

LoL! My struggle everyday is when I woke up and expecting my coins and portfolio would increase is really a struggle because you are seeing the opposite from your expectations.
But my biggest struggle is when I'm keep on posting for almost half a year with 7 accounts with shit coins.

My number one struggle in making money in cryptocurrency is always checking the price value time to time and see if it was increasing or decreasing.I check if my coins that I am holding is have a profit or going down in my wallet.And sometimes I do get panic if the price goes down .

I think we've all been in that "panic" mode, and lost quite a lot of money because of that! :D At least I have!

These are costly lessons, but they teach you a lot if you're eager to learn from your mistakes :)
