Title: CPU mining on multiple PCs
Post by: coinista on January 09, 2018, 02:42:35 PM
As we all know, GPU mining is much more profitable than CPU mining.
However, let's say I have access to 15 office PCs sitting idle for most of the day.

What coin would you suggest for CPU mining?
Is there any mining SW that could be used to combine their power?
What would you do with such HW?

I often question why some of these idled data centers have not entered into CPU mining, many of the servers have 8 or more CPU's in each rack computer. Never mind the power required but if they are sitting idled, why not?

Should I install the xmrig to each PC or should I try to make one "superPC" out of them?

Because it wouldn't make a significant amount of money for the time, hassle, and added mileage on the equipment.
