It got props for being mad consistent as far as marketshare on a review somewhere recently that I can't seem find for you at the moment. I'm not sure why consistency of marketshare is a good thing, but I'm a n00b, so maybe somebody else knows.

As far as software, I'm a CGMiner guy. I started with other programs, ones I felt were easier at the time, but I have determined that CGMiner is very easy to utilize and effective.
